Frankelli is the het ship between Keesha Franklin and Ralphie Tennelli from The Magic School Bus fandom.
Canon[]
Keesha Franklin and Ralphie Tennelli are two of the eight (nineteen in the books) core students in Ms. Valerie Frizzle’s class at Walkerville Elementary School, introduced in the original Magic School Bus book series and featured prominently in the TV series that aired from September 10, 1994, to December 6, 1997.
Their relationship thrives on Keesha’s grounded reasoning tempering Ralphie’s flights of fancy, often leading to productive teamwork with subtle hints of chemistry.
In "Kicks Up a Storm", Keesha and Ralphie get into an angry altercation about Weatherman (Ralphie's superhero alter-ego). Later in the episode, Keesha, feeling remorse for her harshness, attempts to reason with him. Ralphie, dismissive, claims that he made everything up and accidentally shrinks the bus. When Keesha finally calls him Weatherman, he gets his confidence back and gets the rest of the class safely to the ground, via snowflakes-turned-raindrops. As Keesha declares herself "Weatherwoman," Ralphie tells her that the role's too big for just one.
Similarly, in "Flexes It's Muscles", Ralphie skips class chores to play volleyball, which prompts Keesha and Tim to call him out for often skipping class chores. He takes a break with Liz and starts fantasizing about building a robot to do all of his chores while he plays sports. Feeling challenged, Ralphie fantasizes about building a robot to handle his chores. Keesha laughs at the idea and bets him that if he can’t build a working robot, he’ll have to do all the chores and skip sports, and Ralphie accepts the bet.
As the class embarks on a field trip to fix the transforming Magic School Bus at R.U. Humerus’s body shop, Ralphie works on his robot, learning about bones, joints, and muscles with help from Ms. Frizzle and R.U.'s M.I.K.E. device. Keesha remains skeptical but engaged, watching Ralphie’s progress closely. When Ralphie’s robot, Ralphiebot, finally works but goes haywire, cleaning the Bus chaotically, Keesha steps in to help by turning off a water hose Ralphiebot is using. After Ralphie dismantles the robot, Keesha softens and admits she was wrong to doubt him, and she gives him his hat.
