Fremione is the het ship between Fred Weasley and Hermione Granger from the Harry Potter fandom.
Canon[]
Hermione and Fred meet at Hogwarts during her first year and his third. They are both in Gryffindor. During her second and his fourth year, when the Chamber of Secrets is opened, Fred has to be physically restrained when Draco Malfoy calls Hermione a Mudblood. Hermione, while often disapproving of his rule breaking and pranking, does not bear negative emotions towards Fred, as shown in Order of the Phoenix and Half Blood Prince.
After being hit in the face by a boxing telescope in Fred's room, Hermione goes to Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes with the rest of the Weasley family for its opening. Fred spots Hermione with her black eye. Curious, he asks why and discovers it was a boxing telescope from his room. He quickly finds a healing balm for the injury.
Hermione has never been severely angry at Fred. She argues with him and George that the Ageing Potion they plan on using to trick the age line protecting the Goblet of Fire won't work, because Dumbledore would have already thought of an ageing potion. They don't listen and try to cross the line anyways, which results in them being thrown back and growing long, white beards. The only time she is notably angry at him and his brother is when they test out their Skiving Snackboxes on unsuspecting first year students. Though the twins initially scoff at Hermione's concerns and her ability to make them stop, they back down when she threatened to tell their mother.
During the Battle of Hogwarts, Hermione is seen visibly devastated after witnessing Fred's death. During the brief pause in fighting, when Voldemort issues an ultimatum to Harry, Hermione comforts Ginny Weasley over Fred's death. Following the Battle of Hogwarts, Hermione marries Ron Weasley, Fred's younger brother.

There is a persistent rumor/urban myth in the Harry Potter fandom that J.K. Rowling stated in an interview that she had originally planned for Fred and Hermione to end up together (Fred would've lived, Arthur and Ron would've died). No one can find this "interview", however, and it is believed to be a fan theory that was posted on Pinterest group Harry Potter Facts, despite people claiming to have read the elusive interview. It is often speculated by shippers of this pairing that Fred may have harbored some sort of slightly friendlier, possibly closer to romantic feelings for Hermione after giving her healing balm during her visit to Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes.
Fans of the ship enjoy the fact that Hermione and Fred are opposites, even more so than Ron and Hermione are. Fremione shippers are often fans of Fred Weasley, that desire to see him survive the series and receive a happy ending. They believe that Fred would treat Hermione with more kindness than Ron was ever shown to in the series.
