Frilledmarine is the femslash ship between Aquamarine Cookie and Frilled Jellyfish Cookie from the Cookie Run fandom.
Canon[]
Frilled Jellyfish Cookie was the attendant and maid to Aquamarine Cookie and the other Gem Mermaids. Aquamarine Cookie is shown to deeply care and empathize with Frilled Jellyfish Cookie a lot in the storyline, no matter what happens. Her deep care for Frilled Jellyfish Cookie never changed nor stopped. Even if Frilled Jellyfish Cookie lost her memories due to her sudden reincarnation, she still continued to care for her and had stated that she will protect her while she recovers. Though, after Frilled Jellyfish Cookie lost her memories, it wasn’t shown that she feels the same way. However, before that incident where she reincarnated, she was very loyal to Aquamarine Cookie. That, at least, shows that both sides of their relationship work, as they both did their part, just in a different time.
A Mermaid’s Tale Part 1[]
In the Sea Foam Rite of White Pearl Cookie, White Pearl Cookie got caught in a net after not receiving any powers from the Sea, due to her being distracted and stubborn. Frilled Jellyfish Cookie's immediate concern in that moment was for White Pearl Cookie's safety, as she is fiercely loyal to her.
Despite sharing the same level of worry for White Pearl Cookie, it was Aquamarine Cookie who took the opportunity to offer comfort, providing reassurance, before the other Gem Mermaids. As a result, Frilled Jellyfish Cookie Cookie began to feel better and more at ease after receiving this comfort. Some time in the war between the Gem Mermaids and Abalone Cookie, Frilled Jellyfish Cookie made a sacrifice. This resulted in her getting stabbed by a sharp harpoon. In her final moments, she bid her farewells before her body gave out on her.
A Mermaid’s Tale Part 2[]
Some time after her death, she unexpectedly reincarnated in a not-so-far area where the Gem Mermaids were present, without any memories retained in her head at all. Before the other Gem Mermaids, Aquamarine Cookie quickly noticed her, uttered Frilled Jellyfish Cookie’s name out loud with a nervous tone, then got worried about what were the strange events going on with her. Frilled Jellyfish Cookie was really perplexed and had her head hurting badly.
That lead to Aquamarine Cookie asking if she was alright as a result to the situation. However, she realized after a while that she had unfortunately lost all of her memories as said by Crimson Coral Cookie. After realizing, Aquamarine Cookie graciously told Frilled Jellyfish Cookie that she can come with them. She had stated that she stayed with them before she lost her memories, making her to also do the same thing. Aquamarine Cookie has likely have done that in order to return Frilled Jellyfish Cookie’s loyalty for her. She then followed her words, and left Tearcrown together alongside the other Gem Mermaids not so long after, to leave for new waters to live in. That is due to White Pearl Cookie becoming Black Pearl Cookie, making their former waters already dangerous for sea creatures to live in.

Frilledmarine is a not really popular ship in the fandom, which makes it a rarepair. Its top rivaling ship is FrilledPearl. The reason why the two ships rival are because they both include Frilled Jellyfish Cookie in each ship. On Aquamarine Cookie’s side, on the other hand, has no rivaling ships for Frilledmarine.
Due to their lack of interaction in the storyline, and that Frilled Jellyfish Cookie doesn’t interact with Aquamarine Cookie back, a lot of fans do not ship them at all. Ironically enough, a big amount of shippers like Master and Servant ships. However, even if Frilledmarine is one, they make them feel like an exception. They may also not be that popular yet because of the two being relatively new in the game. As of now, there aren’t much shippers of Frilledmarine.
The fandom is shown to love femslash ships a lot. That may help make Frilledmarine even more popular than before as the days go by. Fortunately, some fans are really into ships that are related to the sea. Frilledmarine is one-sided in a way. That is apparently due to Frilled Jellyfish Cookie losing her memories towards the end of the story. That sparks some shippers’ intrigue in the ship itself. Frilledmarine’s chemistry also takes part in that. Some shippers of the ship like Frilledmarine because of its conflict and one-sided love. That, in which, makes the ship more interesting for others. What adds to that is that Aquamarine Cookie and Frilled Jellyfish Cookie’s relationship is sort of complicated to understand. It is just all because of Frilled Jellyfish Cookie’s reincarnation, and Aquamarine Cookie’s never-ending care for her.
