Friskdyne is the friendship between Frisk and Undyne from the Undertale fandom.
Canon[]
Regardless of what choices the player had made, Undyne will try to hunt the human child down on principle to make her superior, King Asgore, proud. Her first encounter always has her heroically stand on a ledge, then gleam at the human.
Neutral Route[]
Should Papyrus survive his encounter with the human, he will try to convince Undyne not to harm them. However, Undyne refuses to listen and chases the child into Waterfall. During the human's encounter with Monster Kid, they find out that Undyne is revered as a hero among monsterkind, but trying to hide in the grass leads to Undyne being alerted of their location, only narrowly avoiding detection because Undyne grabbed Monster Kid by accident. When the human leaves the grass, Undyne starts chasing them throughout the area, but always manages to avoid her attacks. As it comes to Monster Kid getting caught into the crossfire between their confrontations, Monster Kid hangs onto a ledge for dear life, with the human allowed to prove their worth in front of Undyne by choosing to save the kid or let it fall. Regardless, the kid always survives as Undyne will step in should the human ignore it.
During their second confrontation, Undyne reveals that she was actually looking forward to intimidate the child, believing them to be a villain intentionally causing discord in the Underground. During their further chase, Papyrus will call the human on their cellphone, believing they could actually be good friends if they just decided to hang out instead of fighting each other. She chases the human all the way to Hotlands, but her armor causes her to overheat. Once again, the human is given two choices, continue on and let Undyne dehydrate or help their enemy by pouring water on her. Should the human ignore Undyne, Papyrus might save her, but she will be recovering from her heatstroke at home, locking the player out of interacting with her further.
Should the player do the right thing and give Undyne water, she will stop chasing them and return to her house where the hangout Papyrus mentioned will take place if the player cares enough to befriend her.
True Pacifist Route[]
Befriending Undyne is one of two requirements to unlock the best route in the first place, another being completely avoiding killing up to this point.
But when the human actually goes to their house, Undyne will firmly and aggressively deny Papyrus' suggestion that they become friends. She only changes her tune when Papyrus challenges her to become friends with the human, appealing to her competetive nature. Undyne then will try to give her all to make the human love her, thinking of it as "revenge". However, when she loses her temper with the child, breaking her table in two with one of her spears, she suggests that the human shall use the spear to show her what it wants to eat, turning the hangout into a cooking lesson to bond over. However, the cooking lesson goes horribly awry, to the point where Undyne's house burns down because of it. Undyne realizing she messed up, she offers to let the human hit her, which they are required to do in order to progress with her. But even when the human actually hits her instead of just pretending, Undyne will barely receive a scratch, leading to her realizing that the human doesn't want to harm her and vice-versa. Papyrus will offer to let her crash at his and his brother's place due to her house burning down, since they share a phone from now on, the human can call Undyne for advice.
After having fought Asgore once, leading to getting one of the Neutral endings, the player can get the True ending by using the same save and backtrack to receive a call from Undyne, telling them to come back to Snowdin so they could receive a letter from her to deliver to Alphys. However, giving it to Alphys causes some confusion, since the letter isn't signed, but Alphys agrees on "dating" the human in the garbage dump, only to hide from Undyne when she shows up. Undyne will ask the human for her letter back, saying it makes more sense if Alphys receives it from her personally, but won't notice Alphys and walk the opposite direction. The human is then tasked to play wingman for them by helping Alphys sort her feelings through roleplay, but Undyne will quickly put an end to that, letting Alphys confess her feelings for her. Undyne will tell her that she reciprocates Alphys' feelings, but tells her that she can't date her if she doesn't work on her self-image first. Papyrus will swoop in to coach Alphys on her self-worth and Undyne will use the opportunity of being alone with the human to ask a very important question to her: Is anime real recorded human history? Regardless of what they answer, Undyne will thank them for their help with Alphys.
During the human's final encounter with Asgore, Undyne will put her character development to the test by demanding that Asgore befriends the human. For a moment, it seems that all of the human's monster friends can work something out together, but then Flowey ensnares them in his vines and absorbs their souls, revealing his true form to the human. They will be forced to fight their friends again, but manage to weaken Asriel by reminding them of who they used to be, succeeding in restoring their identities. The human will save Undyne by reminding her that humans are not her enemy.
When Frisk talks to Undyne after everything, she will admit that she is glad that she lost against them, greatly preferring hanging out with Alphys over hunting humans.

Friskdyne is one of the more popular platonic ships for Undyne, but is just one of many for Frisk.
