Frynut is the slash ship between Fries and Donut from the Battle for Dream Island fandom.
Canon[]
Donut puts Fries' team up for elimination shortly after he reviews footage of Stapy cheating which Fries was aware of.
While starting Free Food's Cake at Stake ceremony, Donut notices Gelatin hovering above Fries and shouts at him from a distance. He is later shocked to learn that X was hiding under Fries after previously thought to have disappeared.
In Last BFDI, Donut falls into a cutter which transforms him into Fries' fries. Blocky is turned into Fries' container which is later put together with the fries themselves.
In one of the PUMPKIN 2.0 Halloween shorts, Donut and Fries are part of the trick-or-treating group getting candy from Book. Despite not being with the group directly getting candy, the two appear as they open their bags and Donut wonders why they got contestants as candy.
Despite their limited interactions, the two share some similarities within their time in the show. Both Fries and Donut share a frenemy relationship with Gelatin. The two were teammates with him in separate seasons, being Team No-Name for Fries in BFDIA and Team Ice Cube! for Donut in BFB. Donut and Fries make up two of the eight food contestants in the series. Specifically, they and Gelatin were the first three food characters to be contestants as they were competitors in BFDIA. Unlike Gelatin, however, Donut and Fries have never switched teams in the season. Donut has remained on W.O.A.H. Bunch and Fries has remained on Team No-Name while Gelatin switched to FreeSmart at some point before going back to Team No-Name. The two are also both known for taking situations seriously regarding the competition. Donut values that the other contestants are treated well, especially his teammates, and Fries usually looks to see leadership within his team and praises those who show it effectively.

Even though they have not had much time together in canon, they have gotten a following as a ship. The fandom often pair the two together either because of their shared characteristics in the show or them dealing with Gelatin in the show. Fan art throughout often depicts them in a romantic sense such as the two holding one another close together, figuring out how to kiss, or acting as figures towards Gelatin/relieving their shared annoyance from him. Video edits of the two also are on TikTok as well as fanchild art on certain platforms. Two ships that often rival the pairing in comparison are Puffries (Puffball x Fries) and Barfnut (Barf Bag x Donut).
