Fuel Siblings is the family ship between Porter, Lumber, Slick, and Hydra from the Starlight Express fandom.
Canon[]
Act 1[]
Rusty is told to get the freight train, and pulls it into the station. Porter, Lumber, Slick and Hydra then come forward and start arguing with the coach's. Both sets of train arguing why their job is better. Control then tells them all to knock it off, and has the fuel trucks identify themselves. Porter says that he carries coal, Lumber explains that he carries wood, and Slick is an oil tanker. The three believe that they'll be keeping the earth running when Control reminds them that there's one more fuel truck, Hydra. Hydra then tries to explain how Hydrogen is better, but Slick has Porter and Lumber back her up as she points out how unstable it is. The trainyard then has a power outage and the four skate off with their cargo as Electra arrives.
As the first heat is about to start, Hydra tries to argue that the engines should use hydrogen for fuel. However, Slick, Porter and Lumber quickly put a stop to this, saying they run the rails. They then tell him to take a hike, and he skates away as the heat is announced.

The fuel trucks being siblings is a relatively common theory within the StEx fandom. The theory started soon after the Wembley Park production came out, as this is the production where the four were introduced. The idea of the four being siblings came from them all being costumed similarly. With them all wearing the same outfit and same hair styles, just in different colors.
Fans of the four being siblings often debate over who is the oldest, though most agree that Hydra being the youngest. As the Lumber, Porter and Slick tend to treat him like their annoying younger brother. With the other three sprouting how much better they are than him. The four being siblings is often an aspect for fics involving them in other ships. Most often for Hydra or Slick ships.
On AO3, Fuel Siblings is the fourth most written ship for Hydra, the second most written for Slick and the most written for Porter and Lumber. There are currently 7 written works.
