Pilot[]
Pomni suddenly materializes in the circus and bumps into Jax, causing him to make Gangle and Kinger fall down.
Pomni observes her new circus mates around her. Jax asks Caine whether Pomni's an NPC or a new character, telling Caine that if she's the latter, they'll have to redo the theme song, much to his annoyance.
Pomni frantically pulls at her body in an attempt to remove a "headset". Jax sarcastically encourages her to "keep grabbing at it", saying it worked for him and the others.
Jax tells Pomni about Kinger
Pomni asks how she can leave the circus. Ragatha attempts to calmly explain to Pomni that she can't leave before being interrupted by Jax bluntly stating she can't. Jax informs Pomni that he and the others have been in the circus for years. He tells her Kinger has supposedly been there for the longest, saying that's why he's crazy while he nudges Pomni and motions his finger around before chuckling and leaving. Pomni hyperventilates before speaking in a panicky manner, saying that her being in the circus is just a dream and that she should just play along until she wakes up. Jax simply answers "Whatever you say, kid."
Jax asks Caine if they'll be having an adventure for Pomni since she's a new character. Caine replies saying he'd like to give her a tour of the circus grounds first. After the tour, Pomni asks Caine if she saw an exit door and if that's a way to leave. Jax responds with skepticism, saying that if there was an exit, everyone would have left already before being choked by Zooble's arm.
After Zooble gets taken apart by the Gloinks, Jax quips "Oh no, they killed Zooble." in a deadpan manner and asks Pomni and Ragatha if they want to go get something to eat. Ragatha suggests they go check on Kaufmo.
Jax snaps Pomni back to reality
When Kinger's telling Pomni she might be going insane for thinking an exit exists, Pomni argues that means it's more likely to exist since Kaufmo was talking about it. Jax replies saying she could just have a jump start to losing her mind. When Pomni says that her being in the circus is a dream again, Jax is amused at the fact that she still thinks she's in a dream.
Pomni, Jax and Ragatha team up together to check on Kaufmo. When they arrive at Kaufmo's bedroom door, Jax mocks Pomni by sarcastically remarking that it's all a dream. Pomni is in a dissociative bout. Jax taps Pomni's face to snap her back to reality and unlocks the door to see an abstracted Kaufmo. He gets a bowling ball that he was looking for and thanks Kaufmo for looking after it before immediately vanishing, leaving Pomni and Ragatha to fend for themselves.
Later at the end, Jax and Pomni can be seen sitting next to each other at the dining table with the rest of the circus members at the end of the episode, but do not interact.
Candy Carrier Chaos![]
Jax is one of the people present in Pomni's nightmare at the beginning of the episode that showcases her fear of abandonment, saying, "I don't even remember her name, honestly!" with a wide smile.
Once the "war rig" the group will be using to chase the robbers is revealed, Jax and Pomni are shown reacting to it at the same time, with Jax being delighted seeing the truck hit somebody, and looking over at Pomni, who looks tired and wonders what time period the kingdom is supposed to be from at all.

On the ride in the truck after the burglars, Pomni sits silently, until Jax grabs her by the neck and throws her out of the truck at the one they're chasing, cheerfully proclaiming this is how she will help and show the team's assertiveness. Pomni grabs onto both trucks, with her hands elongating in much an unrealistic manner, and groans. Jax peeks out of the truck, and upon seeing this, says loudly that's exactly what she needs to do for now. Pomni is incredibly mad at it and stares down the spot he disappeared to, calling him an asshole, which gets censored. Then, Jax reappears, lazily lamenting he can't find the weapon he wanted to use to attack alongside Pomni, in much of a fake manner. He eventually pulls it out and voices that he's going to cross to the burglars' truck over Pomni's stretched out hands, at which Pomni looks sick, yells, "Are you kidding me?!", and lets go of the truck he's on. Jax congratulates her on the move, then immediately drops the fake cheer and snarkily says he has no bridge to cross over now.
Once one of the burglars appears, trying to reach Pomni from inside of the truck, Jax shoots him off. Then, he offers for Gangle to ram the truck they're on into the one of the burglars', despite Pomni still being on it – he ignores Ragatha pointing that out explicitly, and says it'll be "epic", and goes so far as to manipulate Gangle to do it. Pomni is shocked by that, and yells at the team over it, not knowing the exact culprit.
When Ragatha is worried for Pomni afterwards, Jax points out she should be more concerned for them as they're floating in the chocolate river. Later, Jax is the only character not seen in Pomni's vision of everyone saving her.
The Mystery of Mildenhall Manor[]
Jax reminds Pomni they can’t die
Pomni is hanging out with Jax and the other's as they watch her hold her breath. Pomni tells Jax she can't hold it any longer but Jax assures her she can, because they can't die from lack of oxygen. Jax suggests she needs to toughen up and grabs her arm and stretches it before letting go. When Pomni asks why they aren't doing it, Jax explains how something different happens when each person holds their breath. Pomni asks Jax what happens when he does it but he explains he wants it to be a mystery.
When in the manor, Jax jumpscares Pomni and teases her it wasn't that scary, mocking if she's scared of the vacuum cleaner too. He watches with indifference when she gets so scared she loses her eyes. Due Jax throwing Gangle's head through a haunted door, Kinger jumps in grabbing Pomni's eye to regrieve her mask, causing the gang to separate. Later, he watches as her and Kinger arrive as the end of the adventure.
As Pomni and Kinger reunite with the others, she notices Jax is tied up with his mouth taped and asks if everything was good on their side. It looks like Jax wanted to respond but is unable to due his mouth being shut. When they finally return to the circus, Jax asks Pomni what was it like being stuck with the "nutcase", only for her to state it wasn't that bad. Jax is confused and then walks away annoyed.
Fast Food Masquerade[]
Jax tells Pomni she won’t get her unicorn horn
Jax, Pomni and Ragatha watch as Zooble gives Gangle a mask. Jax teases Pomni she'll never get her unicorn horn, confusing her. Later on their adventure, they are sent to a fast food chain, where Jax is bored while Pomni was fairly having a good day. As Jax is exhausted, he approaches Pomni and asks her how she's doing. Initially, she was about to answer him but quickly bottles up as she assumes he's going to insult her, but he doesn't and even tells her goodbye in a friendly manner, leaving Pomni confused at his concern and change in personality. Back on the circus, the two are seen conversing with each other alongside Kinger.

The episode begins with the gang returning from a mission that apparently left them soaking wet. As they arrive, Pomni collapses onto the floor, and Jax states that Ragatha's positive charm is starting to wear off. Later, during a conversation with Caine, it’s decided they’ll start a “Lightning Round”: Caine will go through various Adventure Box suggestions, and the group can vote to add anything they want or whether to continue or skip to the next one. Both Jax and Pomni are against doing so, as Pomni claims they just got back from an adventure and Jax complains that he wants to sleep.
Jax approaches Pomni to talk
In the first adventure (Jax’s choice), everyone is turned into animals, and Jax has to hunt them. Zooble quickly calls for a vote to skip it—and to make Jax a vegan for the rest of the round. Pomni and the rest of the gang vote yes, so they move on. The next scenario, also chosen by Jax, places Pomni as president, as he says it fits Pomni to be in a position of power suits her. When Kinger asks Pomni if she didn't get the mission brief, she says it was just put there, Jax then tells Pomni that he didn't give her one because he wanted to see what she would do, which makes her angry. Jax later barges into the office as an extremist with a bomb, only to be surprised when Pomni and Kinger emerge from under the desk, joking that he “picked a bad time.” As Pomni attempts to defuse the bomb with Jax “motivating” her, Gangle enters as another extremist, also strapped with a bomb, which ends up exploding and prompting them to move into the next adventure. In the following adventure, they’re reimagined as anime high school students (Gangle’s choice). Jax scoots his chair over to Pomni’s desk, mocking Gangle’s anime drawings and calling her a loser. Pomni looks at him serious, reminding him he once threw her from a moving truck. Before Jax can reveal one of Gangle’s secrets, they vote to move on.
Next, they find themselves stargazing outside the circus. Lying on the grass beside each other, Pomni finally feels calm and tells Jax about it. He asks if she thinks Gangle is capable of being happy, pointing out that her comedy mask breaks every day. Ragatha walks by and scolds Jax for being harsh. Surprised by Jax’s moment of concern, Pomni says she didn’t know he cared. Jax was about to answer something to her but quickly changes it. Sensing his sadness, Pomni asks if he has any friends in the circus. Jax looks hurt, but when Ragatha says, “not anymore,” he gets enraged. She apologizes and quickly leaves with Kinger. Jax asks Pomni if Ragatha ever gets on her nerves, so Pomni replies that she is kind to everyone. Jax complains that her constant positivity feels fake, and that being told you're loved every day makes it lose meaning. Abruptly switching moods, he jokes that Ragatha also looks weird. Pomni laughs, saying they all look weird, but Jax jokingly declares he’s “the peak of masculinity” in his bunny form. Pomni teases him for not having a tail, and Jax panics, trying to figure out when he lost it.
Suddenly, Caine throws in an intermission filled with chaos, including a giant bowling ball falling on top of Pomni and Jax that smashes them, placing the gang together as they hold hands, and sending Jax, Pomni, and Zooble to a cubicle where they pose goofily. Before the bowling ball fell on their heads, Jax and Pomni briefly stared at each other in fear. And when Caine places the gang, he pairs Pomni and Jax together holding hands.
In the next adventure (chosen by Zooble), the gang enters a bar. Jax sits besides Pomni and orders a whiskey sour—but absentmindedly requests it without egg white, remembering he’s still “vegan.” Realizing this, he panics and calls a vote to turn Zooble into a slug. Pomni gives him a disappointed look, and echoed by the rest of the group, they all vote no. Zooble mentions she briefly worked at a bar, which prompts Jax to casually ask Pomni if she’s ever had a job or if she’s too young for one, placing his hand in her head. Pomni moves it and mentions him she’s 25 years old, and answers his question saying she used to be an accountant for a supermarket chain. Jax, surprised by this, asks her that how did she end up in the circus. Pomni tells him she used to go to abandoned places and post them online as a way to cope. Jax asks if she was a youtuber, but she denies this as she mentions nobody watched her videos. Out of nowhere, Jax apologizes for suggesting her as president in their last adventure, claiming he just thought it would be fun, which surprises her and leads her to question what was going on. And when Pomni accepts his apology, Jax hugs her and affirms that they are building a friendship.
Pomni notices Jax talking with Evil Pomni
Their final adventure is a softball match, where they play against evil versions of themselves. When the evil version of Pomni is presented, Jax mentions that he likes her. During the game, Jax finds common ground with Evil Pomni in mocking Ragatha, so they quickly get along. Suddenly, A vote passes to put Jax in a maid outfit, and besides Jax, Pomni is the only to vote against it. Jax has to enter to the field to play, so he misses on purpose to leave. He hits the ball to a centipede and it eats it, so while they don’t have any ball, he approaches Evil Pomni to talk with her. Later, Ragatha apologizes to Pomni for being in a bad mood. Pomni admits she partially agrees with Jax’s belief that it’s okay to be negative sometimes. Then Pomni notices Jax happily talking with the evil version of herself. When they call Jax so he returns to pitch, he bids Evil Pomni goodbye before deliberately striking out.
Pomni worried for Ragatha’s apology to Jax
Jax asks Pomni how she thinks Gangle will perform, so Ragatha steps in and accuses Jax of trying to change Pomni into someone like him. Pomni defends herself, insisting she can think for herself. Jax denies this, but Ragatha presses, accusing him of ruining things and pretending everyone likes him. Pomni tries to calm her down, but Ragatha throws her own words back at her about how being negative is supposedly acceptable sometimes. She then quickly apologizes to both of them, including for bringing up Jax’s lack of friends earlier. That clearly stings Jax, who loses his smug expression. Pomni, noticing this, gently asks if he wants to talk about it, he tells her “I’m in a maid outfit, what do you think?” Pomni is the next one to pitch, so she offers Ragatha the chance of doing so. When Ragatha steps in the field and Caine declares a home run, she looks back at Pomni and Jax, noticing they are talking about something. Just as the whole Lighting Round ended, Jax turns back to normal and runs straight to the evil version of himself to attack him. Pomni, seeing this, lets out a laugh, but stops suddenly when she sees Ragatha's gaze. Back in the circus, Jax tells Pomni he can show her something he was talking about in the hall, to which she agrees, making them walk off one way.
They All Get Guns[]
The episode begins with Jax and Pomni talking and walking together amiably, until they notice Zooble hiding in a hanging flower pot. Zooble tells them about a in-house adventure Caine is planning, mentions that Caine's been checking up their room and singing "Daisy Bell" outside the door if they don't answer. Then Jax calls out to Caine, and tips him out to Zooble's location, makes him to call everyone to gather at the stage.

At the meeting, after Zooble objects to the Caine Leagues and Jax disrupts the trust exercise, Caine is speechless and drops them guns, asking them to just shoot each other. During the grouping time, Zooble prevents Jax from teaming with Gangle. Then Pomni asks Jax to team up with her because Ragatha thinks that Jax and Kinger will be hard to deal with, and she doesn't want to team up with Jax. Jax asks Pomni if she could ever handle him and Pomni replys that she has been through worse. At the end of the grouping time, Jax declares that he will enjoy murdering everyone. Pomni tells the guys to have fun. Jax calls her so lame and drags her away to get the guns.
Jax finds a revolver in the hallway, and calls Pomni "Pompom", asking her who she wants to kill first. At first, Pomni says that she doesn't really like to kill and suggests that she could find guns for Jax and leave all the violent stuff to him. Jax hands Pomni the revolver and leads her to shoot some empty cans, while telling her there is no point in taking the moral high ground since the killing isn't real. Pomni shoots a can without knocking it over, saying that she doesn't want to hurt her friends. Jax shoots a can, conveys to her about his views on characters and role-playing, mentions that he chose to be "the funny one", which makes Pomni think. Jax hands the revolver again, tells her to release herself, and finally manages to convince her to knock out a can. Pomni decides to be evil for the day, calling herself "Pomni the Evil" and running around with the gun, which makes Jax feel a little cringe.
On the other side, Kinger and Ragatha break a gunfire with Zooble and Gangle, exposing their location. Jax tells Pomni they found them, which Pomni shyly agrees. Jax stares at her with a serious face, so Pomni quickly changes to her evil persona and starts chasing at them, much to the bunny's content. Jax shoots Ragatha's hands while she is dealing with a pocket pistol. Pomni headshots her right after, which impress Jax that she's cool. When Jax blocks her in a hallway, Ragatha accuses him of getting close with Pomni to corrupt her, enraging him. After finishing shooting her, he quickly shifts his mood to a happy face and plays along with her when Pomni teases him for letting Ragatha take one life out of him.

Pomni asks Jax about his fear of corn
While searching the others along the row of doors, Pomni asks Jax about why he is afraid of corn and learns that he might have a trypophobia. Pomni says that she's learning a lot about Jax today, makes him think of something. While they're chatting, Kinger appears in a door, introduces them to a dark hallway. Amidst the gunfire, Jax accidentally shoots Pomni once and apologizes. After finding out that Kinger has killed himself with his "ricochet super move", they high-five.
Then, they follow after Zooble and Gangle through a pipe to a corner. Jax whispers to Pomni if she has any ammo left. Pomni answers that she has one in the cylinder, and one sniper round, but no sniper rifle, makes him feel bad. Suddenly, Gangle rushes out with a tommy gun, shoots the pipe off , and makes them fall to the ground. In the nick of time, Pomni grabs a sniper rifle and gets Gangle first.
Pomni and Jax after receiving several gunshots
After a chase, Jax and Pomni trap Zooble in their bedroom, singing "Daisy Bell" to mock them. After the choir, Jax remembers that he has key to Zooble's room, only for Zooble to throw them a flashbomb and later shot them to one life. Pomni stands up and volunteers to get Zooble, but Jax tries to stop her. Pomni tells him to trust her, leaving Jax relaxing in the hallway. Jax sees Kaufmo and Ribbit's bedroom door, reminding him of something awful. Then Jax catches up with Pomni, who has just got Zooble. They eliminate them with a joint shot.
Realizing their victory, Pomni perks up and hugs Jax. However, when he comes back to his senses, Jax pushes her away. Looking her puzzled, Jax casually says that the competition wasn't anything crazy, but misleads Pomni into thinking that they have to betray each other. Jax looks at his hand, then emphasizes to Pomni that they are never a team, he's been always entertaining her and orders Pomni to shoot him, even she doesn't think so at all. Pomni refuses, pointing out that he's lying, Jax tries to change the subject, asking if she's coming on to him, for everyone likes a straight couple. Annoyed by his attitude, Pomni uses the fact that he didn't go to Kaufmo's funeral to accuse him of ignoring the possible causes of abstraction. Jax is totally pissed of, reprimanding her for not knowing anything about people before they abstract. After yelling, he shifts his mood back again, showing symptoms of dissociation. Pomni apologizes to Jax, and Jax makes fun of her again, The atmosphere seems to be harmonizing until Pomni asks, what Jax would do if she abstracted tomorrow, receiving an unemotional answer that he'd move on, and probably forget about her. Pomni murmurs that she understands, and turns around with her gun.
Pomni jumps to attack Jax
Jax still tries to lighten the mood, but Pomni unexpectedly throws her pistol at his face, shouts at him that he's not "the funny one". While Jax is confused, Pomni jumps onto him and tells him to fight back. Jax throws her to the ground and reveals her plan to get him to open up. Jax says fiercely that he doesn't care about Pomni or anyone else in the circus and that they are all his playthings to hurt for fun. Right after that, Jax swears for the first time in the show. Before walking away, Jax tells Pomni wearily that there's nothing more to him and begs her to stop looking.
At the Favourite Character Awards show, Pomni and Jax arrive at the theater separately. Pomni goes to her seat with Ragatha first, Jax comes in afterward. When he sees Pomni in her seat from behind, Jax chooses a seat far away from her, which Pomni realizes. As the show begins, Jax becomes increasingly uncomfortable, and has to curb his panic in the washroom. Near the end of the show, Pomni looks back to find Jax not on his seat, just as she's about to leave her seat to look for him, he returns. Pomni sits right back down, and exchanges glances with Ragatha, showing her concern.

Behind the Scenes[]
Both Jax and Pomni are the two characters from the show to appear the most in announcements and commercials made for the show, interacting outside of it. It’s mostly about Jax talking directing to the public, knowing what is happening, and Pomni frightened not knowing what is happening. They were even the two first characters to have their own merchandise and their separate commercial, being about the creators presenting the Jax and Pomni plushie.

During a Glitch commercial, Caine introduces Jax and Pomni plushies, referring to Pomni as "Jax's best friend".[1]
In Glitch Inn, Jax sets fire to the man in the lobby, and while laughing he tells Pomni everything he did to him, but realizes she's not there. Jax then becomes confused, realizing Pomni is nowhere to be seen. It then cuts to a first-person view of Jax, searching the room. he worries for a few moments, just before Caine jumps on him.
- “HAHAHAHA! Hey Pomni! I've put hot sauce in his coffee and kidnapped his whole family, you've got to see this! ... Pomni?”

During a Glitch announcement, Caine introduces the gang (as plushies) to a machine that turns them into merchandise, with the excuse that it "grants your greatest desires." Caine approaches Pomni and asks what her wish is, so Gangle says, "I know what she wants," and pushes Jax into the machine, which emerges as a stuffed maid. Jax is embarrassed by this and asks Pomni what kind of sicko she is.[3]
During a new release of merchandise, Pomni and Jax (Lizzie Freeman and Michael Kovach) are seen discussing about Jax's smile.

Commercials[]
During a japanese commercial, Pomni is looking at the audience confused, asking if someone is there. Jax appears and makes fun of Pomni calling her a wild animal, so Pomni jumps on his head and start kicking him. Jax tries to take her off, but as he fails he throws himself backwards to the ground in an attempt to knock Pomni off his head. By the end of the video, they are still fighting but as an abstracted figure appears besides them, they both stop and agree to continue fighting somewhere else.[5]

FunnyBunny is one of the most popular pairings within the The Amazing Digital Circus fandom. It is the most popular ship for both Pomni and Jax. Its rival pairings are BunnyDoll, FunnyGummy, and ButtonBlossom. The ship has an infamous reputation involving content farming channels, where they would sponsor the ship in often crude interpretations. Despite this, fans genuinely enjoy the pairing for reasons such as their comedic dynamic and contrasting characterization that makes an interesting relationship. Another possible reason for the ship's birth relies on the fact Jax and Pomni are extremely popular and beloved characters in the fandom, thus they were shipped together.
In Episode 5, many fans speculated that Jax's president-themed adventure was designed to cheer Pomni up, especially after he and the rest of the gang witnessed her grow attached to Gummigoo, an Australian crocodile who was quickly eliminated by Caine. Jax's adventure places Pomni in a position of power, and he even comments that she seems suited for a position of leadership. Later, he appears imitating an Australian accent, humorously mocking it, which some interpret as a nod to Gummigoo. He also seems to have taken note of Pomni's preferences, as during the bomb defusal moment, he tells her to cut the wire with her favorite color. She then reveals says she might cut the red one, probably referring to it as her favorite color or a closer call.
There is a Digital Circus fansong by RecD called "Funny Things" that sees Jax teaching Pomni to be a bad person. While the song's creator has confirmed that it wasn't intended as a ship song[6], many FunnyBunny shippers still enjoy it due to the inclusion of the show's official voice actors as well as Jax and Pomni's interesting dynamic throughout the song.
On AO3, it currently has more than 1000+ written works, establishing it as the most popular ship on A03 for the fandom.

- FunnyBunny comes from Pomni being a jester and Jax being a bunny.
- Jax and Pomni have a 3 year age gap, as Pomni is 25 and Jax is 22.

- In the episode "Untitled":
- During the president adventure, Kinger's sheet reveals that Jax wrote the message "DO NOT EMBARRASS THE PRESIDENT OF THIS NATION! >:(" as if he was genuinely serious about protecting Pomni from humiliation or harm during the mission.
- Gooseworx stated Pomni does not like being touched[7] and it is seen when Pomni quickly takes Jax's hand off her head, although she didn't push Jax away when he hugged her.
- Later on when asked by about her opinions on the FunnyBunny ship, Gooseworx admitted she wasn't sure if they would love or hate the direction the story would go, implying their relationship might become more positive or complicated in the future.
- In a GLITCH X skit, Jax and Pomni's voice actors collaborated in voicing dialogue written by fans. In a specific section, Jax acknowledges that people ship FunnyBunny and told Pomni about it, in which the jester misinterpreted it for the fans planning to ship them away.
- On TikTok, there's a Hot Topic ad dedicated to the voice actors of GLITCH shopping there, and one part shows Michael Kovach (Jax's VA) holding a Jax plush saying, "I like an abnormally large Pomni, you're mine" before using his Jax plush to take the Pomni plush.
- Pomni is the only character Jax has been shown to be kind towards after episode 4, and so far the only one in the show who has made Pomni genuinely laugh.
- In the 5th episode, Pomni is the only one who doesn't vote in favor of making Jax wear a maid outfit.
