FurHisu is the family ship between Frieda Reiss and Historia Reiss from the Attack on Titan fandom.
Canon[]
Frieda and Historia are both half-sisters, being born from the same father, but not the same mother. It's said that their father and Historia's mother, who was also a maid in the Reiss household, had an affair, which resulted in Historia being born. Before Historia inherited Frieda's memories, she did not know that Frieda was her older half-sister. Before her death, Frieda would usually go visit Historia on Historia's family farm, and they soon became close. Frieda taught Historia how to read and write, and kept her company when she was alone, to which the latter is extremely grateful for.
Historia then learns Eren's father was the one who killed Frieda as it triggered when Historia and her father, Rod Reiss place their hands onto Eren's back. After learning this Historia was willing to kill Eren, her comrade, after learning what his father did to her. Rod even tells Historia that Frieda isn't as dead as she thinks since her memories are still alive, and if she wants to see her sister again she'll have to eat Eren. However, Historia changes her mind as she throws the serum, rejecting inheriting the Founding Titan, as she realized the titan powers made those lose humanity as Frieda was shown to be depressed in the memories. Historia kills her father after this.
Historia has mentioned that Frieda would start acting like a completely different person, and that she'd called themselves "devils". When she told Eren that when she saw someone crying, saying they wish they weren't born; she wanted to tell them that wasn't true. Both Frieda and Ymir could be seen, showing that the two of them were possibly the two people she had loved the most. Historia claimed that she wanted to be like Frieda when she grew up, to which Frieda blushes and hugs her, the two laughing. After, saddened to leave her, Frieda erases Historia's memories for Historia's own protection and takes her leave, never going back. Before Historia's name was revealed, she went under the alias "Krista Lenz" in her cadet days, Frieda was partly responsible for this as she told Historia while reading a book that she should be like Krista who was always kind. It was known that, out of all the members of Historia's family, Frieda was the only one who treated Historia fairly.

Due to Frieda and Historia having a strong bond, FurHisu is greatly shipped as a family, and in fanfictions, Frieda acts like a somewhat motherly figure to Historia. It's one of the most popular family ships with the other being the Jaeger Brothers. There are currently over twenty written works on Archive of Our Own.
