Fushiguro Siblings is the family ship between Megumi Fushiguro and Tsumiki Fushiguro from the Jujutsu Kaisen fandom.
Canon[]
In episode 23, we receive a flashback to Megumi's junior-high years, in which we also learn more about Tsumiki. Megumi's father and Tsumiki's mother got married when Megumi was in first grade, but later vanished without a trace. Tsumiki and Megumi are shown coming home from school. Tsumiki tries to cheer her constantly gloomy brother by placing a hand on his shoulder, but Megumi doesn't appreaciate that and throws her hand off, to which she only laughs.
Several years later, they're shown in middle school. After Megumi finishes off some of the kids at his school, Tsumiki approaches him, asking why he fought them even after he promised her not to do that again. In response, Megumi tells her that she needs to stop acting like his guardian. Megumi explains that he likes not good people, nor bad people, since the bad people act superior to others, and the good people forgive the bad ones. He says that Tsumiki is a perfect model of a good person, and in response to this thought, he tells her, "You disgust me". Tsumiki throws her drink at Megumi, not expecting it to spill out, but it still spills out. Soon after Megumi began 9th grade, Tsumiki was cursed, and had fallen into a coma.
Megumi remembers Tsumiki saying "If I have the time to curse someone, I'd rather spend it thinking about those precious to me". In response to that thought, Megumi says that she always smiled and had pretty ideals. He began to remember how she'd even accept his aggressive and blunt attitude, but would still genuinely feel angry whenever Megumi would hurt someone. Megumi claims that he found her hypocritical at the time, but he now understands what her mindset was like. He says that the way he chooses who to save, she chose him to worry about. While laying down on the floor after fighting, he thinks to himself, "I'm sorry. I was just a kid. I'll apologize. So wake up already, stupid sister".
Itadormi Extermination Arc[]
Megumi tells Yuji that Tsumiki is ensnared in the culling game. Megumi asks Yuji to him help save his sister. The students learn about the rules of the game and elaborate a plan where they have to participate in the culling game and rules so the unwilling participants, like Tsumiki, can escape.
Perfect Preparation Arc[]
While trying to recruit Hakari and Kirara, Megumi figures out Kirara technique due to the knowldege he has from Tsumiki's interest in the stars. After explaining the situation to his new allies, Megumi decides on the rules to add to prevent Tsumiki from being killed: allow points to be transfered to another player and allow players to leave the colonies.
Culling Game Arc[]
Now fighting Reggie's group inside the Tokyo No.1 colony, Megumi thinks of what he must do to protect Tsumiki to stop himself from panicking.
After obtaining 359 points, Megumi thinks they have enough points to withdraw Tsumiki from the game. In order to withdraw from the game Tsumiki has to enter a colony. Inside Tokyo No.1 , she appears right next to Yuji and Megumi. As she thanks Yuji for taking care of her brother, Yuji and Hana make fun of Megumi for trying to act cool in front of his sister. Megumi gives 100 points to Tsumiki to allow her to leave the game but she uses them to add a new rule. Shocked, Megumi understands his sister is not an awakened player but a reincarnated one. Megumi knew reincarnated sorcerers had access to the memories of their host and could impersonate them but Megumi assumed this wasn't the case for his sister. The sorcerer reveals herself to be Yorozu. This revelation shatters Megumi's soul, leaving him vulnerable to Ryomen Sukuna's possession attempt as he takes control of Megumi's body.
Now possessing Megumi, Sukuna decides to kill Tsumiki in order to make Megumi lose his will and have even more control over his body. Sukuna meets with Yorozu and decides to only fight her with the Ten shadows techniques because he wants Megumi to feel like he killed his own sister. Sukuna kills Yorozu and Tsumiki making Megumi's soul sink even deeper into the abyss.
Fanon[]
MeguMiki is not romantically shipped by most of the fandom, considering their relationship as step-siblings, and since most of the fandom prefers ItaFushi as a ship for Megumi. Most of the Fushiguro Siblings centered fanarts are generally pieces depicting a normal sibling relationship, and at times, having Tsumiki tease Megumi, as it was shown in a flashback that she enjoys doing so, beside, despite her peaceful nature she is not timid and can stand for herself. In some fanfics Toji, Megumi's dad and Tsumiki's step father is alive and he and his first wife are watching after them. More often Satoru Gojo appears in fanfiction as the siblings' guardian, as fans like the headcanon, and he can often be seen in arts of Megumi and Tsumiki, since he had known the two since they were very young.
Trivia[]
- According to page 10 of the Jujutsu Kaisen: The Official Character Guide, Tsumiki was the one in charge of domestic chores and Megumi helped her out.
- Megumi is somewhat knowledgeable on constellations of stars because it was one of Tsumiki's interests which she talked to him about.
- In a volume 20 Extra Tsumiki is shown reprimanding Megumi for fighting.
