Canon[]
In "Sandbag Sabotage," Gabby, Hunter, and Yul face off in the second round of the challenge. Gabby and Yul sprint ahead, digging through the sandbag while Hunter hangs back, waiting for them to do the hard work. As soon as Yul finishes digging, Gabby pounces on him, demanding he let go of the bag. Yul refuses, telling her to get out of his way and calling her a lunatic. But just as they're struggling, Hunter swoops in, snatches the sandbag right out of their hands, scores the point, and throws his hand in the air in triumph, smugly declaring it an easy win.
In "Slip & Sly," when the Yellow Team debates who to vote out from the Cyan Team in the upcoming joint elimination, Gabby is Yul's second choice (after Tom) because of her unpredictability. Before the ceremony, Yul assists Alec and Grett in persuading Gabby to vote with them, saying that "revenge is best served cold" and that the Villains Alliance could use a new member. Although Gabby is initially unsure about joining, she eventually decides it's nothing personal and agrees. Following her suggestion, Yul casts his vote for Tess once Gabby commits to the alliance.
In "All's Fair in Love and Paintball," at the start of the merge, Yul tests Gabby’s loyalty and sarcastically asks if they’ll have to work with the "Tumblr girl" now that she has a supposed new villain name. Gabby, unfazed, mentions overhearing Aiden and Tom discussing issues with Jake, which Yul sees as a perfect chance to "shake up the hive." Early the next morning, Yul complains to Kristal about how early they’re waking up, saying he needs his beauty sleep. Kristal jokes about announcing his “withdrawal from the game,” leaving Yul momentarily panicked while Gabby laughs at his reaction.
Later, Riya pairs Gabby, Yul, and Grett together. When Gabby suggests hiding behind a bush to ambush someone, Grett comments that Gabby wouldn’t last two seconds hidden. Yul jumps in, taunting Grett that they wouldn’t fit in the bush because they’re “overweight.” He continues to mock Grett until Gabby, growing irritated, snaps at Yul, asking what’s wrong with him. Yul replies smugly that this is as nice as he’ll get with Grett. Disgusted, Gabby tells him she’d never say such things to Ellie. Yul retorts that it’s because Ellie doesn’t look like Grett, prompting Gabby to tell him to shut up and threaten to leave the Villains Alliance. When Tom later hits Yul in the face with a paintball, Gabby and Grett eagerly chase after him for revenge.
In "Hungry like the Wolf," one morning, Gabby asks Grett to go with her to the beach. After thinking she said something awkward, Gabby suggests Grett go alone, but Grett insists on coming along and says she'll get her swimsuit. Yul gives Grett a strange look, so she quickly changes her mind about the swimsuit. At the beach, Gabby tells Grett to ignore Yul’s comments, but Grett bluntly replies that Gabby should mind her own business. Frustrated by how often Grett gets hurt by Yul, Gabby gently suggests she break up with him, but Grett hesitates, worried about ending up alone.
Yul soon arrives at the beach, telling Grett he's hungry. Annoyed, Gabby asks why he’s bothering them, to which Yul snaps back, telling her to shut the fuck up. He then persuades Grett to get him a Greek balsamic house salad. Gabby watches sadly as Grett agrees, letting Yul push her around. In the confessional, Gabby vents about her hatred for Yul, saying he’s the worst person she’s ever met and that she’d punch him if Grett wouldn’t mind.
Later, during a challenge, Gabby talks to Riya, frustrated that Tom stole her flag and prevented her from winning. She confides in Riya that she wants Yul gone, as his bullying of Grett has gone too far. Riya disagrees, saying they still need Yul’s vote and suggests targeting Tom instead. Gabby hesitates, not wanting to target Tom despite him eliminating Ellie. In the confessional, Riya expresses frustration with Gabby’s choice to prioritize Grett’s happiness over strategy.
In a tiebreaker between Gabby and Tom, Riya asks if anyone can help Gabby, but Yul points out that it’s an individual challenge. Alec steps in to help her with the knots anyway. Later, when Gabby’s branches start untying, she remarks that she double-knotted them. Yul snidely suggests that maybe she should have triple-knotted to keep them secure.
In "Dis-vengers," while on the beach, Gabby finally builds up Grett’s confidence enough to try standing up to Yul. As Grett begins, Yul notices Gabby watching nearby, assuming Grett’s words are her influence and mockingly referring to Gabby as “that lesbian behind the tree.” Despite Gabby’s encouragement, Grett’s attempt to break things off with Yul falls short, much to Gabby’s disappointment.
In the next challenge, Gabby, Yul, and Grett make an unexpectedly effective team, working together to take down Ally and Connor. But while Grett is busy defeating Ned, Yul takes the opportunity to confront Gabby alone. He offensively calls her “butch lover” and warns her to stay away from Grett. Gabby refuses, standing her ground, but Yul, using his electric powers, threatens her. Gabby transforms into a wolf to defend herself, yet Yul overpowers her, causing her to cry out in pain as he laughs. Just as things turn grim, Grett intervenes, stopping Yul.
At the elimination ceremony, Gabby casts her vote against Yul, taunting him with, “Any last words, loser?” In his goodbye speech, Yul furiously curses at Gabby, leaving with anger blazing.
In "Tiktok on the Clock," the strong bond that has formed between Gabby and Grett after Gabby helped Grett confront Yul is shown. The two are now inseparable, sharing an undeniable friendship. Both Gabby and Grett seem disappointed with Alec and Riya for not supporting their vote against Yul, as shown by their expressions and Grett’s confessional. In her own confessional, Gabby reflects on how she'll never forget Yul’s attack in the last challenge, recalling Ellie’s advice about striking at villains first because they can’t be trusted.
During the challenge, Grett mentions that she learned a particular dance from Yul and that they once planned to start a couple’s TikTok account together. Gabby feels a bit guilty for bringing it up, but Grett reassures her, thanking her for helping her see that the relationship with Yul wasn’t real. When Gabby asks what she means, Grett explains that Gabby helped her break free from a relationship that wasn’t healthy and adds that she was never really the right person for her. Touched, Gabby smiles, replying that what matters now is that they’re friends.
In "No Vacancy," Although Gabby and Yul don't directly interact in this episode, Gabby still holds a grudge over their past conflicts. She becomes visibly annoyed when Yul mentions that he's going to find Grett and bully her again. Gabby decides to let Grett handle it on her own, stopping Tom from stepping in. Later, when Yul seems to consider apologizing to Grett, Gabby quickly advises her to ignore him, showing that she’s not ready to forgive him and still stands by her decision to keep her distance.
Fanon[]
Although as a friendship GabYul isn't very popular, a good portion of the community seems to enjoy their interactions throughout the show. Despite only having important interactions in 1 episode, most of the Disventure Camp fandom enjoyed it, watching Gabby help Grett stand up to Yul and vote him out.
