Gatebook is a femslash ship between Book and Gaty in the Battle for Dream Island Fandom.
Canon[]
Book and Ice Cube decide for the better that they should get away from Pencil's alliance. The two then immediately decides to join Gaty's team, to Gaty's delight of them joining forces to become a team. In the 3rd Episode, Gaty and Book are seen discussing how tragic Taco's death was.
Book and Lollipop get into a heated argument about Taco's constant abandoning. Gaty gets between the two and breaks up an argument between Book and Lollipop. Gaty distracts Book, by saying that they should let Dora should do the challenge, since Book wanted to learn more about her. Book obviously responds positively to this idea and they go through with it. They begin to lose hope for Dora as she didn't start once the challenge had begun, but the annoyance turned to pleasure when Dora went into her :power-up" stance and quickly sprints up the stairs and wins immunity for . In the split between Season 4 and 5. Book gives her farewells to Taco after she switches back to Four's show. Book tells her to let the gang about her experiences when they get back together. Gaty and Saw watch on from the background at the two as this happens.
Book is left with no one to team up with in the new show. She goes up to Gaty if she can stick with her and Saw. Gaty tells Book that she knows Book is trying to get better after the whole Taco chaos previously. She says it would probably be for the best if she found new friends to be better at, as Gaty and Saw are still unsure about Book, but both think allowing her to get new friends will help her. Book is disappointed but accepts her answer, as begging her to stay would do nothing. Gaty and Saw walk away with Gaty saying that she would see Book around later. Gaty uses her relationship as a example for Two, after they tried to help Winner and Clock to become friends again, to the displeasure of Winner who tells them so. Gaty says she likes Book as a friend again as she has been respecting her boundaries, and that it is becoming easier to see her around at challenges because of this, as before she was a yelling lunatic that hated Taco, it was nice to she her old friend again to normal.

This is a fairly popular ship in the show, not too popular, but quite a bit. The two's dynamic now is super nice, seeing them as friends, to enemies, to friends once again. They weren't well liked due to Books hatred arc against Taco. Which the whole fandom hated the minute is became a thing. Now that Gaty and Book are friends again, and that Gaty talked about how she likes Book again to Two sparked the ship up. It's rival ships are Lollibook, Tacobook, and Icebook.
