Gatenut is the het ship between Gaty and Donut from the Battle for Dream Island fandom.

Battle for Dream Island Again[]
Gaty overhears Donut talking about how him, Dora, Teardrop, Match, and Puffball are the only ones in the Tiny Loser Chamber who competed in Battle for Dream Island Again. Hearing this, Gaty gives an idea to draw a line through the Tiny Loser Chamber.
Battle for BFDI[]
Gaty is brought back to Earth thanks to Donut. Gaty later tells Donut in the challenge that his audio recording of Four's screech isn't real and therefore doesn't have any effect, even though Donut gets screeched with the same recording seconds after.
The Power of Two[]
Saw has Donut hold her over the edge of the building. Gaty sees this and magnetizes her hinges to get pulled up to her, making their team safe.
Donut can be seen listening to Gaty and Two having a conversation.
Donut is standing over the funny plant, when a beam from the quasar goes through his mouth and vaporizes the plant. Donut is confused at what has happened until Gaty explains it. Donut understands her explaination, even calling it obvious.
When Four and X's silhouettes are revealed at the entrance of the hotel, Donut gasps that it's David and Dora, with Gaty having to correct him, saying it's clearly Four and X.
Donut attempts to say something to Gaty about how well she knows Two, but Coiny cuts him off. Later, Donut says it was rude of Golf Ball and Puffball to mock them for how poorly they're doing in the challenge. Gaty asks if they're even wrong since all they have is a broken mirror. Donut admits they aren't wrong but says it's still rude. Gaty is happy that Donut is going to get crushed for Team8s to win the challenge, saying that it's a great day.
Gaty saw Donut rolling to the edge of the Balance Beam in the challenge, so she advised someone should go over there and stop him.
When Team8s does Cake at Stake, Donut gets hits by a wooden slab, and Gaty tells him that he's gotta learn to catch up things with his legs.
Team8s are still in Barf Bag's nightmare and are continuing to pour more caffeine into the giant barf bag. Gaty worries that Barf Bag cannot handle anymore, while Donut thinks that it'll probably be fine.
Despite them not being on the same team anymore in Team Swap, Donut still wishes Gaty farewell during her elimination.
When Donut asks where Gaty is, One tells him that that she's gone. Donut witnesses Gaty being erased from existence by One as a punishment for refusing her signature, of which he's very upset. Donut, distressed, asks One if she can bring her back, and she replies with a nonchalant "probably".

Gatybag is a rarepair in the Battle for Dream Island fandom overall. While not a popular pairing, some fans create fan art and fiction for them, often drawing on their history as teammates and their shared experiences on teams like Team8s. This ship is vaguely overshadowed by more popular ones such as Sawty and Barfnut.
