Gelabag is the het ship between Gelatin and Barf Bag from the Battle for Dream Island fandom.
Canon[]
Gelatin joins Barf Bag's team, later named Team Ice Cube!, and the two pick Naily and Donut out of the remaining unpicked contestants.
Barf Bag oversees Gelatin rapidly throwing forks and thinks to herself that he should stop. Later in the challenge when Barf Bag tells Team Ice Cube! to take it slowly during the swingset challenge, Gelatin disagrees and thinks they should go hard. After being motivated by Donut, Gelatin and Barf Bag position themselves onto Spongy to launch the team swingset upwards.
When told by Fries to eat someone else's innards, Gelatin slides to Barf Bag with a blank face. Barf Bag greets him when he approaches her. An early version of this scene shows Gelatin more nervous to approach her as he taps his hands, while the final episode gives him a simple blank face.
After Gelatin uses Barf Bag to cushion his fall, she scolds him for it as he runs away. Gelatin later gets the idea to refill her using the inverted planet's hot spring water after her barf is spilled out of it. When this works, Gelatin calls the team for a celebration in the planet's hot spring. The two then work towards escaping when lava begins flooding the planet from below. As Gelatin makes a joke when Donut gets burnt from the lava, Barf Bag calls him out for being insensitive. Gelatin explains to her that people use dark humor to cope with tragedy like he just did. The two, along with Naily, get on top of Bomby so he can launch them out away from the lava and out of the hole they dug. Although Naily is sent sideways, Gelatin and Barf Bag are sent upwards by his explosion. The two successfully return to the surface and Barf Bag congratulates Gelatin as the two hug. Afterwards, Gelatin finds an emerald next to Four and Barf Bag agrees that he should give it to him, making their team safe for the episode.

Gelabag was fairly popular during the fourth season of the show's run. Their time as teammates of Team Ice Cube! and scenes such as how Gelatin originally approached her in regards to her innards and the two hugging after escaping the lava brought awareness of their dynamic to fans. During this time, the ship had gained a following on the BFDI fandom wiki where galleries for the ship and fan art was often shared around. Although not as hyped as before, video edits and fan art are still made on TikTok and DeviantArt respsectively. Ships often compared to Gelabag at the time include Gelanut and Barfnut, which still mainly overshadow it to this day.
