Donut watches Gelatin make a stack of forks.
Donut says that their team name has to be something solid that stands out. Gelatin says he agrees and they can't end up with something lame.
Gelatin says they should explode Bomby. Donut asks if he's insane. He then tells Gelatin that Bomby is their friend and teammate and he can't just kill him when he needs something.

Gelatin says that Team Ice Cube goes hard. Donut says that he stands by his brother Gelatin. He then gives a motivational speech, inspiring Gelatin.
Today's Very Special Episode[]
Donut says it was very disrespectful to Bell for people to climb her string. Gelatin was in the group of people who was. He says that Donut is a party pooper.
Fortunate Ben[]
Donut pats Gelatin on the head for getting rid of Bracelety's trash. This surprises Gelatin.

Donut says that he has the twinkle of contagion. Gelatin laughs and asks if he means the tinkle of contagion. Donut asks why Gelatin acts like he's 6 years old. Gelatin says it's because he is.

Donut catches Gelatin trying to eat Fries's fries, yelling "Gelatin, what are you doing up there?!"
Donut gives Gelatin a stern look for almost suggesting that they blow up Bomby. When Gelatin finishes his sentence, saying Bomby should throw the balls, Donut doesn't believe that's what Gelatin was going to say.
Return of The Rocket Ship[]
The two sit together during Cake at Stake. When Ice Cube sits down with them, Gelatin asks Donut what he should do.
Don't Dig Straight Down[]
Gelatin calls the new location an inverted planet. Donut tells Gelatin to excuse himself as the correct term is Buried Forest, Deciduously Insulated.
An annoyed Donut tells Gelatin and Naily to stop playing around when Barf Bag is penetrated by Naily. Gelatin says "Nah" and they proceed to keep playing, much to Donut's annoyance.
Gelatin tells Donut he found something. When they are shown again, Gelatin tells Donut once again that he found something. Donut is skeptical at what Gelatin is trying to reveal until it's shown to be a hot spring, which Gelatin also claims could help refill Barf Bag. Donut for once agrees with him.
When Donut sacrifices himself to save Spongy and dies in lava, Gelatin giggles, saying "I always liked deep-fried donuts!" However, this is proven to not be actual insensitivity when Gelatin tells an angry Barf Bag that dark humour is the way some people deal with tragedy, implying that Gelatin was actually very upset by Donut's death.
The Escape From Four[]
Donut tells Gelatin to be a bit more polite. Gelatin just says whatever.
Fanon[]
Gelanut is a popular ship in the BFDI fandom. Many dislike this ship however, due to their many fights or seeing them as brothers or having a father-son relationship. Another reason is because of the time where Gelatin said he was 6 years old. However, this is just a joke referencing when he first joined BFDI, which at the time was 5 years ago, and it would be 6 that year (2018). The rivals are Gelabag (Gelatin/Barf Bag) and Barfnut (Barf Bag/Donut).
