Gelatennis is the slash ship between Gelatin and Tennis Ball from the Battle for Dream Island fandom.
Canon[]
Gelatin was sat at the top of the Eiffel Tower with Tennis Ball, Book, and Firey. Book asked Tennis Ball about what was Dream Island. Tennis Ball is quite surprised she doesn't know what it is. After he tells her, Firey calls her "Well Read". Book steals Gelatin's freeze syringe and stabs Firey with it in spite. Tennis Ball then did it, and finally Gelatin. Pin then shook the entire Effiel Tower to get all of them off so they could do Cake at Stake. This causes Gelatin to be caught by Freesmart, but makes Tennis Ball fall to his death and smash to pieces due to gravity. Gelatin pushed Tennis Ball along with Golf Ball and Rocky off of Puffball because there wasn't enough room, and since he's claustrophobic. Fries tells him off for doing this, but Gelatin doesn't 100% knows why pushing the three of them off was a bad thing.
Gelatin and Firey recover Tennis Ball due to him dying to electricity fused Yoyle Berries. Later, Gelatin's headphones that Needle forced onto his head, that had glue on, starting shooting spikeballs around the room they were all stuck inside. The spikeballs triggers the motion activated door, allowing Evil Leafy to access inside the room, as she was stuck outside due to only being able to teleport, not move fluidly. Tennis Ball gives Gelatin an angry look to him. Gelatin asks what he did and that he didn't mean it, as it was physically out of his control.
Tennis Ball forcefully sends Gelatin, along with Firey, to Freesmart to get Ruby's yoylite. Yoylite is a rare mineral in Goiky, which all inventors across the world always wanted to treasure and look at it for scientific purposes. Tennis Ball and Golf Ball are two of those inventors that really wished he wanted to have one. Tennis Ball tells Gelatin what yoylite is and sends him to get it from Freesmart. Gelatin drags Firey along with him. Gelatin goes to ask Book to borrow her laser shooter. Pencil tells him that Book is competing, which Gelatin takes as permission. He aims at the Yoyleland HPRC buttons and crank to recover his team, then transforms it to a grappling hook to grab Fries and Tennis Ball to the challenge area. Gelatin also tries to grab Golf Ball who's still glued to the tree but he's unable to do it, and then Gelatin tells them he's back on Team No Name. Tennis Ball is happy about it, but Gelatin immediately tells him to go to the trash compactor and do whatever the machine says. Tennis Ball gets inside. Tennis Ball on team No-Name also becomes more squished, due to the descent of the spikes. Instead of trying to guess Tennis Ball's phrase, Gelatin and Fries bicker. Gelatin remarks that Fries was responsible for Pencil and Tennis Ball's death last episode, causing Fries to respond by raising a fist and saying "Want to catch these hands?" The machine detects the word "hand," and frees Tennis Ball from the compactors. Gelatin cannot guess what Fries' dance is. Before he could figure out, Tennis Ball asks him if he really meant it when he said Tennis Ball couldn't build a good invention. Tennis Ball can lip-read, so he could understand everything Gelatin said. Gelatin reassures him that he was joking, but Tennis Ball is still upset because he feels that his inventions always fail, and that he was inferior to Golf Ball. Gelatin gestures a flipping motion, with the Sender Scoop Thrower sound effect playing. Tennis Ball correctly guesses it, and is teleported inside. Once inside, he is horrified at the phrase he has to act out. Tennis Ball's word is revealed to be acetylsalicylic acid, to his dismay. He knows that Gelatin couldn't possibly know about nor guess acetylsalicylic acid. He twists his legs into it's chemical structure, but he doubts that Gelatin could correctly get the answer. Gelatin guesses wrongly, and Tennis Ball is nearly squashed to death. Tennis Ball is still trying to get Gelatin to guess correctly, when he instead realizes that he needs to get Golf Ball to guess correctly, as she is the only other person who can understand chemistry. The screen later zooms in to Golf Ball, glued to a tree in Yoyleland. Tennis Ball, using a laser constructed out of some of the machine's parts, draws out the molecular structure for acetylsalicylic acid on the moon. Looking up at the moon all the way from Yoyleland, Golf Ball recognised the molecular structure, teleporting her inside the charade chamber. Tennis Ball gets freed, but Golf Ball gets trapped inside the charade machine. Since she wasn't informed of what the challenge was, she doesn't know what to do in the tube, and gets crushed. Gelatin informs her that the glue is water soluble, so he could easily get out of the headphones. However, Gelatin also forgets to guess Tennis Ball's word. He incorrectly guesses, "Tennis Ball, you are the greatest inventor to ever exist," thinking that the "moral of the story" would somehow be the answer, resulting in Tennis Ball getting crushed. Needle comes in and mocks Gelatin by his name with "more like 'thing to step IN'" and squashes Gelatin.
Before being fully flung out of the trunk of the car being driven by Flower, Tennis Ball gives Gelatin his laser pointer so he could remember him, and Gelatin says thanks and notes he now has two laser pointers, one being the zap ray he stole from Freesamart. Gelatin gives Tennis Ball his Revolutionary Headphones in return, still tangled and damaged from being stuck around Neelde. Gelatin notes the headphones are notably missing its "Volume Up" button . Gelatin is then fully flung into the Weak Trembling Fortress with Firey and Rocky, proceeding to then tie all their legs together.

Gelatennis is a rarepair in the fandom, even though they do have a handful of interactions. Small shippers that do ship Gelatin and Tennis Ball together appreciate the two's dynamic, mainly in Catch These Hands, as Tennis Ball argues with Gelatin about him calling him a bad inventor due to he couldn't make a proper shield, and Gelatin does learn that was a bit too far and does apologize. Their friendship does also follow through into the next episode where Gelatin is sadly eliminated as he and Firey during this point became a bit annoying and childish. The two's short friendship though also makes it clear that the two are polar opposites from another, but still do care for each other, even if one of them is still wrong, Their rival ships are Gelafries, the ship between Gelatin and Fries, and Tenfries, the ship between Tennis Ball and Fries.
