Genos is one of the main characters from the One Punch Man fandom.
Character[]
A 19-year-old young cyborg and Saitama's disciple. He is aiming to become stronger and he fights for justice. Genos is extremely serious character, rarely if ever making jokes, though after meeting Saitama he has slowly become less serious and becomes a bit curious about some minor things such as the meaning of fun.
At age 15, Genos lost his home and family to a rampaging enemy he calls "The Mad Cyborg". After miraculously surviving, he later is being saved by Dr. Kuseno who Genos then begged that he transform him into a cyborg. Genos promised Dr. Kuseno he will find the Mad Cyborg and get justice. Four years later he meets Saitama who saves him from Mosquito Girl and Genos himself, as he was about to sacrifice himself by self-destructing. After witnessing Saitama's strength Genos asks to become his disciple.
Both Genos and Saitama eventually join the Hero Association, who give Genos his hero name; Demon Cyborg. At the beginning of his hero career, Genos was immediately placed in the S-Class.

Dr. Kuseno became one of Genos's most important people shortly after Genos lost his home and family to a rampaging cyborg who disappeared after the destruction he caused. Kuseno saves him and Genos begs to be turned into a cyborg. Together, they began hunting the "Mad Cyborg", and although Kuseno wants Genos to succeed in finding the cyborg, he sometimes worries about him. Dr. Kuseno repairs and updates Genos' cybernetic parts whenever the younger one wants or needs it. Genos, on the other hand, cares a lot about the doctor and sometimes tries not to bother the good doctor too much. Dr. Kuseno thinks of Genos as his grandson.[1]
Fanon[]
Genos met Saitama at the beginning of the House of Evolution Arc when Saitama indirectly saved his life and he saw Saitama's strength which led to him asking to become his disciple. Genos soon becomes Saitama's roommate as well, although the young cyborg would later move to live next door after they are forced to move out of the apartment after losing it. Genos admires Saitama a lot and follows his daily activities, while learning to become stronger. Genos keeps their house clean and does many other household chores if necessary. Saitama has learned to care for Genos as well, and in the Monster Association Arc, Saitama shows how much he cares for Genos when he (temporarily) loses him.
- Speed-o'-Sound Sonic
- Main article: GenoSonic
Genos and Sonic first met briefly during the Sea Monster Arc, when Sonic left his battle against the Deep Sea King to get his gear and clothes as he wanted to deal with the sea monster after. Still naked, he runs into Genos, who is confused by his presence in the area since other people have already evacuated. As Sonic leaves, while mocking all the heroes, Genos wonders who the "pervert" was. They meet again when Sonic finds Saitama's apartment and wants to fight the guy. Genos doesn't like him and decides to deal with him alone when Sonic doesn't back down. They fight for a while until Saitama ends it by defeating Sonic.
Genos appears to have first met Fubuki some time after the defeat of the Deep Sea King, but they would meet again in The Blizzard Group Arc when Genos was dealing with Speed-o'-Sound Sonic and Fubuki was fighting Saitama. After Sonic's defeat, Fubuki explains her behavior to them. Genos continues to meet Fubuki when she visits Saitama, but the young cyborg never likes her attempt to make them part of her Blizzard Group. During the Monster Association Arc, their relationship improved when Genos sees Fubuki and Tatsumaki's conversation and how Fubuki is heartbroken by her sister's self-sacrificing tendencies. Genos would give her his jacket for comfort and promised to keep Tatsumaki safe, which Fubuki greatly appreciated.
Genos and Tatsumaki met in the Alien Conquerors Arc just before the Dark Matter Thieves attack. He mostly ignores her, and after Boros' defeat, Tatsumaki verbally attacks Saitama for ignoring her and Genos tries to stop her by threatening her, but Tatsumaki retaliates. However, their relationship gets a lot better in the Monster Association Arc when they fight back-to-back.
Genos and Garou met at the start of the Monster Association Arc, when Genos found him with the unconscious bodies of the other heroes who had previously tried to stop him. Genos immediately attacks him and threatens to eliminate him, and Garou's injuries at the time make it difficult for him to deal with Genos. In the end, the hero hunter manages to escape. During the Monster Association Arc, when Garou is influenced by the "God" entity, Genos tries to stop him, but is eventually killed by the human monster. When Saitama travels back in time thanks to Garou, and a catastrophic ending was averted when Saitama defeated Garou in the present time with Zero Punch, Genos still believed that Garou would become a repeat offender, although Saitama said he doesn't believe so.

- King
- Main article: GenoKing
Genos and King both participated in the "End of the World" prophecy meeting before the Dark Matter Thieves attacked. However, they both don't talk to each other much throughout the series. Most of their interactions or meetings happen when King and Saitama hang out together. Although, King has occasionally shown his worry towards Genos. The young cyborg and King do seem to have a good relationship.
