Ghost Lily is the femslash ship between The Spectre and The Witch from the Slay the Princess fandom.

Canon

Despite never crossing paths, the two are separate vessels for The Shifting Mound. The Spectre is a ghost, whereas the Witch is as her name suggests. Both are victims/routes to particularly cold-blooded variations of the player, as they spawn The Voice of the Cold and Opportunist. They're notably cuter in appearance despite their wholly dangerous nature. They share almost bitter sarcasm with the player, referring them to names to nail the fact they're a callous killer.

Both are fully capable of usurping the protagonist with ease, though their capabilities come with cons. For example, the Witch can't engulf her targets in thorns without killing herself and the Spectre is fully vulnerable to physical blows when possessing someone. The Spectre is soft-spoken and notably more forgiving towards her murderer, as evident even when killed by them twice, her attitude strictly depends if she was treated respectively. The Witch is more than willing to vindictively cheat them. This arguably activates the Opposites Attract trope.

However The Witch is more vulnerable than she seems. She falls into the Tsundere character category; this becomes especially apparent in The Thorn chapter. Therefore her and The Spectre can be deemed the more passive and/or persuasive Princesses, but this can go full circle relying on the player's actions. Interestingly, the Spectre begins calm if not somewhat belligerent, but will turn around in The Wraith chapter. This can be the exact opposite for The Witch, as she immediately begins salty and mean but becomes crestfallen and sensitive in the third chapter.

Fanon

Ghost Lily shares common ground in being very well-received vessels from the fanbase. Originally, it may come off as a surprise to how similar they are. Fans acknowledge their very cute looks and snarky personalities that make them endearing. The Thorn, however, may have more popularity among the two since the player can get intimate with her. They have decent recognition on AO3.
