Giju & Jaeryeong is the family ship between Seol Giju and Lee Jaeryeong from the Weak Hero fandom.
Canon[]
Giju Seol is the Number Three of the second generation of Cheongang. Jaeryeong Lee is the current leader of the Cheongang Action Squad and a candidate to be the leader of Cheongang’s third generation.
Chapter 162
Giju is present with the rest of the executives and witnesses Changhui Han scolding Jaeryeong and the Action Squad for their loss against Jake Ji (Ji Hakho in the Korean version) and Wolf Keum (Keum Seongje in the Korean version). After they are dismissed, Giju catches up to Jaeryeong in the stairwell and tells him not to feel bad about how he was treated back there and that at least the whole gang is rallying for revenge.
Jaeryeong says that he has no hard feelings and that he was the one at blame to begin with. Giju shows Jaeryeong a photo of Wolf on his phone and asks if he was among the scums that came over. Jaeryeong confirms that Wolf was there and asks if Giju knew him because that guy was fucked up. Giju tells him that he doesn't know him but that he's interested in Wolf personally. When Doyun Kim comes out to get Giju because Juwon wants to talk to him, Giju tells Jaeryeong that he can leave now. Jaeryeong respectfully bows to both Giju and Doyun before leaving.
Chapter 163
Jaeryeong gives Juwon and Giju his report in regards to the Union. Afterwards, a member of the Action Squad tells Jaeryeong that Juwon's presence is huge but that Giju seems gentler than the rest of the executives, and that Giju is very supportive but his managerial skills are far more superior than his fighting skills. Jaeryeong scolds the newbie and tells him about the big contribution Giju made during the Seongsan Massacre.
Chapter 166
Jaeryeong is at the Mapo Office when one of the Action Squad members slams the door open and says that something bad must be going on because everyone who went to the Octagon isn't picking up their phones. Jaeryeong brushes off the concerns and says that the punks must be slacking off and to call Pansu, but Purple said even Pansu wasn't answering his phone and that he couldn't get a hold of anyone. Jaeryeong says that he'll call Giju but realizes that the situation isn't good when Giju doesn't answer. He orders everyone to head to the Octagon.
Chapter 195
Giju is talking to Jaeryeong over the phone. Giju tells Jaeryeong that since he's going to Seongsan district anyway, he'll collect the money and that Jaeryeong should help Doyun with his job instead. Once Giju notices Wolf, he tells Jaeryeong to stop by Seongsan instead and apologizes because he forgot that he had something he needed to take care of. He tells Jaeryeong that he's counting on him.
Chapter 212
Jaeryeong greets Giju, who has finally returned from the countryside after his wounds have mostly healed. Giju asks him where Doyun and Juwon are, and Jaeryeong informs him that Doyun went to collect the money from Mr. Jang and Juwon wasn't clear where he was going, but he just said he was going to finish something today.
Fanon[]
Some people write Giju being a father figure to Jaeryeong, despite Giju being barely older than the latter. Some people also write Giju as being more of an older brother. This is because of how kind Giju treats his subordinates compared to Changhui and Doyun. Jaeryeong is also quick to defend Giju’s strength when someone doesn’t think much of him. Some people write that when Doyun bullies or mistreats Jaeryeong, Giju is quick to protect him.
