GiuliAn is the het ship between Giulio Gandini and Anna Scervino from the My Hero Academia fandom.
Canon[]
Giulio was assigned to be Anna's butler due to his Neutralization quirk, which allowed him to temporarily nullify someone's Quirk Factor and make them Quirkless for a short period of time. He had the task of nullifying Anna's strong Overmodification quirk, which she had been suffering from all her life. Giulio had promised to her that as long as he was there, Anna would be a normal, Quirkless girl, who was just a little rich.
Once meeting Giulio, she becomes happier in her daily life, especially with him, even showing a bit of childishness around him. However, after the death of her father by the Gollini mafia family had traumatized her. After the events, Giulio had practically been left for dead, but had managed to piece himself together after losing his right arm, eye, and left leg, to pursue the family and find Anna. Going in with her request and his loyalty, Giulio had agreed to find Anna and kill her off due to the risk of her quirk getting out of control.
Giulio follows after Anna and the Gollini family, searching high and low for her. When he eventually catches up to them he tries to kill Anna, but is stopped by the Gollinis and Izuku Midoriya. Izuku gets to know Giulio more, and inquires about his relationship with Anna. Giulio explains their past, and his worries that Anna will lose control of her Quirk. He wants to kill her before that happens, fulfilling his promise. Izuku notes that he doesn't think Giulio will be capable of killing Anna because he cares for her too much. Instead, Izuku suggests that they try and save her. The rest of Class 1-A agrees, and offers to help. Giulio, still a little skeptical, agrees.
Together they try and save Anna from Dark Might and the Gollini family. Anna's Quirk finally loses control, and Giulio rushes to save her. He hugs her close, despite the pain he feels from not being a compatible match for her Overmodification Quirk. Eventually, Giulio is able to connect with Anna's Quirk, which modifies his own Quirk and allows him to neutralize her for good.
Upon waking up from being knocked unconscious from the effects of her Quirks, Anna is surprised to learn that she is now virtually Quirkless. Giulio tells her that she no longer has need for him as a butler, and he walks away. Anna, however, runs after him and pulls him into a hug. Surprised, Giulio asks if she heard him. Anna agrees that she did hear him, and asks him to spend the rest of his life with her while insisting that he call her by her first name now since they are now equals. Giulio accepts her proposal and the two are last seen smiling at each other.
