GiyuMitsu is the het ship between Giyu Tomioka and Mitsuri Kanroji from the Demon Slayer fandom.
Canon[]
Giyu and Mitsuri are both affiliated with the Demon Slayer Corps and share the rank of Hashira, with Giyu being the Water Hashira while Mitsuri is the Love Hashira. The two are both friends with Tanjiro and respect him. They are also very loyal to the Corps' leader, Kagaya Ubuyashiki, which is shown throughout the series on how much the Hashiras respect him.
Giyu and Mitsuri's first interactions are shown during Hashira Introduction Arc where Tanjiro and Giyu were on trial for allowing Nezuko, a demon, to travel alongside Tanjiro, a Demon Slayer. Throughout the trial, Mitsuri was openly on the Kamado Siblings' side, since she was against the execution of Tanjiro and Giyu, and stated that she found the siblings' bond captivating. Giyu and Mitsuri didn't want Tanjiro to be executed. Mitsuri thought of him as a “cute kid”, while Giyu saved his life in the past and seems to care for Tanjiro. Later, Mitsuri is seen falling over and Giyu lends her a hand. However, this small moment between the two (specifically Giyu's polite gesture) only appeared in the manga and was never animated.
The two were seen glancing at each other during certain scenes during the trial.
During Hashira Training Arc, the Hashiras were having a meeting regarding the Demon Slayer Marks being unlocked, as Mitsuri and Muichiro were the first Hashira of the Taishō Era to receive them. While the meeting is going on, Giyu is visibly seated in front of Mitsuri. Mitsuri was asked to explain what she felt in the moment when she received her mark by Amane Ubuyashiki. She excitingly demonstrates, causing all the Hashira, including Giyu stare at her in confusion. Mitsuri excuses herself in embarrassment. Afterwards, Sanemi becomes angry with Giyu since he stood up and refused to participate in the Hashira Training; therefore, Sanemi starts walking up to him angrily. Mitsuri tries to stop him from doing so and she stands near Giyu so Sanemi couldn't attack him. Gyomei then claps his hands loudly to get everyone's attention. Giyu, Mitsuri, and Sanemi stop as Sanemi looks shocked, Mitsuri looks scared, and Giyu's expression is unknown as he was still facing the other way. They then stop the chaos.

In the Corps Records, the Hashira stated their opinion on each other. On Giyu's profiles, he describes how Mitsuri always talks to him, but believes she shows too much skin. Mitsuri, on the other hand, believes he's quiet, timid, and adorable.

Fanon[]
GiyuMitsu is a rarer pair in the fandom but is starting to gain a decent amount of popularity. The ship is overshadowed by ObaMitsu and ShinoMitsu on Mitsuri's side, and GiyuShino, SaneGiyuu, and SabiGiyuu on Giyu's side―those ships being the most popular pairings for the two. Many fans view them platonically since Mitsuri's sweet personality could get Giyu to come out of his shell and talk more. Other headcanons for the two is that they are actually close friends, considering how Mitsuri gets along with almost every Hashira.
Other fans view them as brother and sister. They claim that Mitsuri acts like Giyu's older sister, and that it is weird to ship them anything more than platonically. Some fans even claim that Giyu sees Mitsuri as Tsutako herself. The fans that view them as brother and sister like to make AUs where Mitsuri's family adopts Giyu, making the two adopted siblings. Infact there is a lot of content for it often titled as "friendship GiyuMitsu" for when it comes to the friendship variant.
Fans enjoy the dynamic between the two, with Giyu being calm and collected while Mitsuri is sweet and energetic. Fans envision scenarios where Giyu falls for Mitsuri because of how cheerful she is, and that she let him come out of his shell.
The two are of often shipped with Shinobu Kocho due to their close relationships with her, Mitsuri being Shinobu's close friend and Shinobu being someone Giyu respects and speaks to often. Those pairings are known as GiyuShino and ShinoMitsu, both of which are extremely popular in the fandom, leading people to struggle with choosing one ship out of the three. To combat the issue of choosing one ship, a decent amount of people ship them in a polyamorous relationship including Shinobu. The same goes with ObaMitsu, GiyuMitsu, and ObaGiyuu, leading others to ship the two with Obanai, that ship being ObaMitsuGiyu.

Trivia[]
- The two both have green on their outfits, Mitsuri having green socks and Giyu's haori having spots of green.
- They both had black hair. Mitsuri had black hair until she ate too much sakuramochi, making her hair turn pink and green.
- In the final battle, Mitsuri fights Muzan eventually passes due to blood lost while Giyu survives. The two of them lost arms while fighting Muzan in the final battle.
- After reincarnation, Mitsuri becomes a bakery owner along with Obanai Iguro while Giyu has a descendant.
