GladLouie is the family ship between Louie Duck and Gladstone Gander from the DuckTales fandom.
Canon[]
Gladstone is the cousin of Della and Donald Duck, on their father's side. As Louie is Della's son, this makes him and Gladstone first cousins, once removed. However, due to the age gap between them Louie and the other boys refer to him as "Uncle Gladstone".
Donald, Scrooge, and the boys make a trip to Macau to visit Gladstone. All of the triplets are excited to see him, but Louie seems the most enamored by Gladstone and his streak of good luck. Scrooge and Donald drop by a casino with the kids to see Gladstone, and are both quickly unimpressed with him. Scrooge suggests they leave to visit an ancient temple instead, but Louie begs to stay behind with Gladstone. This excites Gladstone, who sees a lot of himself in Louie. However, he tells Louie that Donald must agree to him staying. Louie thinks this will be impossible but, surprisingly, Donald does agree and invites himself along to hang out with Louie and Gladstone.
Gladstone splurges his earnings on Louie, dressing him in finely tailored clothing. Louie tells Gladstone that he is "the best thing that's ever happened to [him]". Gladstone, Louie, and Donald head down to the casino, where Gladstone and Louie watch on with embarrassment as Donald tries (and fails) to win one of the games. Eventually Gladstone reveals that he is being held prisoner because of his good luck, and he needs Donald's bad luck to help free him.
Gladstone and Louie reunite during the moon invasion, when Gladstone's good luck brings him and Cousin Fethry to a deserted island that the family is stranded on.

Fans enjoy the relationship between Louie and Gladstone due to the similarities between the two characters. Louie and Gladstone both appreciate a life of ease and luxury, and do not like having to put in "hard work". Louie is even compared directly to Gladstone in "Moonvasion". When paired up with an adult, Louie is often put together with Gladstone. Both also wear green, which helps to make them look good together visually.
