Interacting With Each Other[]
Enjin smiles at Gob
Gob is seen painting at Rudo's party with a crowd watching him. Enjin tells Rudo to watch the man paint and introduces him as Gob. He says Gob nevers goes off from what he wants to do in life. Later, Enjin is seen smoking and thinks Gob has been hanging around alot. Gob agrees and the reason why is because there is many more script he wants to tag. Enjin says he doesn't care what he draws as long as he doesn't draw anymore poop. Gob laughs and says he can't promise him that one.
Gob's Death[]
Enjin and the Cleaners are approached by the mayor of Canvas Town. Enjin asks him about getting charms from Gob and wonders about Gob’s whereabouts. The mayor falls silent and Enjin stares at him until he solemnly reveals that Gob had passed away that morning. Gob's body is seen lying under a sheet in bed leaving Enjin visibly shaken.
Enjin kneels at Gob’s side
The mayor explains that Gob died from body pollution, as he often removed his mask while drawing in polluted zones. Enjin listens seriously and is later seen kneeling by Gob’s bedside. The mayor recalls how Gob always looked happy when he was drawing. Enjin agrees and describes Gob as the kind of guy who would show up at Cleaner HQ, draw whatever he wanted, and then disappear. Enjin recalls watching Gob draw and Gob smiles back at him. He reflects that he can’t believe he’ll never see his grin again.

Fanon[]
Enjin and Gob are a very small ship due to Gob dying and not having any appearances outside of the Successor Spellcaster Arc. There was some interest in the ship when episode five had the anime original scene with Gob. In episode nine it is revealed that Gob has died. A few anime viewers felt that Enjin’s flashback of remembering him resembled the dead wife montage trope.
A reason they are shipped together is because Enjin is seen very relaxed and comfortable around him. Although how they first met and most of their interactions are never shown, their history and the way Enjin talks about him have led fans to interpret them as having a close bond. Fans also like think Enjin is into blond guys. It rivals EnGris, KyouJin, and TomJin.

- In the English dub, Enjin calls Gob boo. This slang is sometimes referred for romantic partners or close friends.
- Enjin also refers to Gob as a genius in the English dub.
