GojoYaga is the friendship between Satoru Gojo and Masamichi Yaga from the Jujutsu Kaisen fandom.
Canon[]
Gojo's Past Arc[]
In 2006, Yaga was the second-year teacher of Gojo at Tokyo Jujutsu High. Yaga punishes Gojo for not putting up a curtain on a mission. Later, Yaga meets with Gojo and Geto and gives them a mission from Tengen. He informs them about the importance and the parameters of the mission. Later, Yaga is contacted by Gojo who tells him about their circumstances and asks Yaga to follow Riko Amanai's request on Tengen's orders.
A year after Riko Amanai's death, Yaga tells Gojo that Geto had massacred an entire village and is currently on the run. Yaga also tells Gojo that Geto had also most likely killed his own parents. Later, Yaga meets with Gojo after Gojo failed to kill Geto and ask him to explain why he let him go before apologising. Gojo asks Yaga if he is strong, Yaga agrees and Gojo tells him that despite being strong, he can only save the ones who want to be saved.
Cursed Child Arc[]
Gojo is now the first-year teacher at Tokyo Jujutsu High and Yaga is now Tokyo Jujutsu High's principal. Yaga and Gojo talk about how they have to locate Geto. When Geto suddenly shows up at Tokyo Jujutsu High, Yaga, Gojo and several other sorcerers go to confront him. After Geto leaves, Yaga and Gojo attend a meeting where they discuss their course of action.
Fearsome Womb Arc[]
Yaga meets with Gojo and Yuji as he wants to see if Yuji can attend school at Tokyo Jujutsu High. When Gojo and Yuji arrive at the school, Yaga tells them they are late. After Yuji dies, Gojo trains Yuji by using one of Yaga's dolls. Days later, Yaga has a meeting with Gojo but Gojo is late because he was busy fighting Jogo. The next day, Yaga has a meeting with the principal Gakuganji, but he is late because Gojo told him the wrong time because he wanted to talk to Gakuganji first.
Kyoto Goodwill Event Arc[]
On the day of the Kyoto Goodwill Event, Gojo reveals that Yuji is still alive. Yaga responds by putting him in a chokehold. When the event starts, Gojo and Yaga watch the event through monitors. Afterwards, Gojo and Yaga attend a meeting with the other staff members.
Shibuya Incident Arc[]
Gojo and Yaga are both present at Shibuya during on October 31st, 2018. After Gojo is sealed, Yaga is given the death penalty by Jujutsu HQ for inciting his former students, Gojo and Geto, and causing the Shibuya incident.
Perfect Preparation Arc[]
Yaga is ambushed by two sorcerers and comes to the conclusion that the Jujutsu higher-ups became more pushy the moment Gojo was sealed. Yaga is killed by principal Gakuganji.
Shinjuku Showdown Arc[]
After Gojo is unsealed, he has a talk with principal Gakuganji who tells him he was the one who killed Yaga. Gakuganji asks Gojo why he isn't cursing him. Gojo responds that the only reason Yaga's death was ordered is because he got sealed and for that reason he doesn't want to point fingers. Gojo then asks Gakuganji if Yaga had any words to pass on before his death. Gakuganji says Yaga told him how to create cursed corpses which makes Gojo laugh.
When Gojo dies, Yaga is present in the afterlife. Gojo tells him he was wrong to say there was no such thing as a sorcerer dying without any regrets. Yaga appears to be annoyed at Gojo's antics.

GojoYaga is a relatively popular ship as it currently has 76 works under its tag on Archive of our Own. Fans appreciate the pairing because they have known each other for a long time and they knew each other before Geto's defection.
