Golly is the family ship between Gertrude Yorkes and Molly Hernandez from the Marvel and Runaways fandoms.

As the two youngest members of the Runaways (Gert is 15 and Molly is 11) the two are often shoved together by the older ones in their early days. Upon meeting up for their families' annual Pride event, Molly approaches Gert to ask her for advice about "girl stuff". Gert shuts her down immediately. Later, Gert takes Molly out of the room so that Alex can fill Karolina in on what they witnessed their parents doing. Gert is initially reluctant to do this, believing that Molly should be made aware of their parents evil deeds since it involves her too. However, she seems to quickly realize that Molly is too young for the conversation and takes her to the bathroom. There, Molly tries to talk to Gert about her changing body. Gert brushes her off again.
The older kids all sneak out of their houses to meet up, and slowly begin to learn more about their parents and the Pride. Eventually Gert suggests that they go find Molly and bring her along with them. She worries that Molly isn't safe with her parents, whom they now believe to be super villains. They first head to the Chase's house, where they are met with the Minorus and the Steins. Gert and the others reveal that they know everything about their parents and the Pride, before ending up in a fight with the adults. The teens manage to get away, and soon Gert receives a call on her cell phone from her parents. They warn her that if she and the other Runaways don't cooperate, that they'll hurt Molly.
The teens come up with a plan to fight their parents and save Molly. Nico and Gert eventually arrive in Molly's bedroom, where they learn that the "changes" she's been referring to were actually her coming into her mutant powers. Molly is frightened by Gert's dinosaur, Old Lace, and demands to know why they are fighting her parents. Gert tries to explain everything calmly to Molly, stating that she wants to tell her everything rather than sugarcoat it for her young age. Molly refuses to believe her. Suddenly Karolina's mother, Leslie, breaks through the wall of Molly's bedroom and uses her powers to grab Gert. Molly yells at her to stop, as she's hurting Gert. She screams at Leslie to "be nice" before using her newfound super strength to throw her backwards into her family's outdoor pool. Gert thanks Molly for saving her life.
TV Series[]
In the Hulu adaptation, Molly's parents are murdered by members of PRIDE when they learn that the Hernandezes are wanting to leave the group. Molly survives, and is in turn adopted by the Yorkes family at the age of four. She grows up alongside Gert, who is two years older than her. They continue to attend PRIDE events and meet up with the other children of PRIDE until the group falls apart following Amy Minoru's death. As sisters, Molly and Gert are the only ones that remain close to each other during this time.
Two years later, the children of PRIDE are reunited by their parents. The five of them accidentally witness the members of PRIDE performing a ritual sacrifice, which scares Molly. That night she comes to Gert's bedroom, not wanting to be alone. She asks to sleep with Gert, and Gert sings her a lullaby to help ease her fears.

Golly is a popular dynamic in the Runaways fandom, especially for fans of the Hulu television show. While they are shown to be close friends in the comic series, it was the introduction of them as sisters that really drew people towards this relationship.
