Gotham is a live-action TV series that serves as a prequel to the DC Batman comics.
Plot
The series begins on the night Bruce Wayne lost his parents, as the series shows a series of events that tell the story of how he became Batman. The series focuses on Jim Gordon, a rookie detective in the GCPD, and his partner Harvey Bullock solve crimes that are committed by the people who will become or are connected to Gotham's iconic criminals, such as the Penguin, the Riddler, Catwoman, Poison Ivy, the Joker and many more.
