Gregvan is the ship between Gregory and the Crying Child from the Five Nights at Freddy's fandom.
Canon[]
The Crying Child and Gregory have never met each other, since Crying Child death long before Gregory was even born.
Even though the two have never met they share some similarities. This mainly being the fact that they both are up against a group of animatronics. Both try to survive against them during the nights. However, for Gregory this is only one night, while Crying Child it is five nights. During their efforts of surviving the night, they both have a bear companion. For Gregory this is Glamrock Freddy, while for Crying Child it is his Fredbear Plush. Greogory and Crying Child also both use flashlights.
Personality wise the two are different, since Crying Child is shown to be terribly afraid of the animatronics. While Gregory is not and is shown destroying the animatronics.
They also both have brown hair and wear striped shirts.

Gregvan is a decently popular ship in the fandom.
About these two there was comic created where the two would meet. In this comic Gregory does something similar to what Oswald did in Into the Pit. This being, using the ball pit to travel back in time. When Gregory does so, he travels back before the bite of '83 happened. This is also when Crying Child and Gregory would meet and would become friends. Gregory would also defend Crying Child against his bullies. Gregory would use the ball pit back and forward to hang out with Crying Child, further developing their friendship, until the bite happened.
There are also people who believe that Gregory is the robot version of Crying Child. From how similar they look and William's statement of him wanting to "fix" his "broken" son. The adoption novel trilogy of The Silver Eyes having Henry Emily recreation his late daughter as an animatronic doll, it got people to wonder if Afton had attempted something similar with his youngest son. There have been theories of William doing experiments related to souls binding themselves to the metal used to make the animatronics, before or after the death of Elizabeth Afton. Vanessa stating that there were no records of Gregory and the "Saviour ending" showing him eating a Golden Freddy pop, helps to support this theory. Those who believe that Michael's soul is inhabiting Glamrock Freddy like to think that he sees his little brother in Gregory and is why Mike, as Glam Freddy, wishes to protect him. Like he wants to atone for his past actions towards his crying brother, through Freddy.
