Gryphon Trio is the friendship between Matsukaze Tenma, Tsurugi Kyousuke and Shindou Takuto from the Inazuma Eleven Go fandom.
Canon[]
Inazuma Eleven Go[]
On in his first day of middle school, Tenma meets Tsurugi as the secondary team. The two have a challenge, in which Tenma manages to snatch the soccer ball from Tsurugi. Eventually, Shindou appears alongside the main team. Tsurugi summons his team, the Black Knights, and the two plays the match to see whether everyone gets replace or not. Tenma eventually arrives on the field after seeing Raimon losing 10-0. He tries to keep the ball so to make sure the other players don't get hurt. Unfortuneltly, that means that the opposing team is going for him. Shindou tells to a tired and injured Tenma to stop doing that. But the latter tells him to not give up while reaching and grabbing his shirt (specifically on the lightning symbol). Shindou then summons his Keshin for the first time. But the defeat still affects the Raimon Eleven.
Eventually, Tenma manages to get in the team and with the help of Endou, he befriends Shindou. But Tenam, who sees the good in people, wants to also befriend Tsurugi. And after some events, he and Shindou do become friends with Tsurugi.
Inazuma Eleven Go Chrono Stone[]
Tenma is shocked that Shindou says that there is no soccer club and that he doesn't know him. While trying to talk to each of his teamate and friend, he has the same answer. He is then confronted by Alpha, who altered the timeline. With the help of Fey, Wonderbar and Yuuichi, Tenma restores the original timeline. Except one thing: Tsurugi Kyousuke is missing. After fixing the timeline once again, Kyousuke is back.
Inazuma Eleven Go Galaxy[]
They are the only three experienced players in the selection of the New Inazuma Japan. Shindou is frustrated, Tsurugi tries to work with it and Tenma tries to stay positive. Despite that, the whole team eventually gats better. But, after their match against Storm Wolf, it is revealed to them that this wasn't actually an international competition, but an intergalatic one deciding the fate of their planet !
Fanon[]
Just like the Break Trio, they are shipped because their main characters statis. The trio is mostly seen as friends, with some rare exceptions. If it is ship romantically, it will most likely be a love triangle between Tsurugi and Shindou. But the relationship, wheter platonic or romantic, is still liked in the fandom. However, as a friendship, it's not as strong as the one between Tenma and Shinsuke have.

Trivia[]
- In the dubbed version of Inazuma Eleven, all of the characters are given Western names. Matsukaze Tenma is named Arion Sherwind, Tsurugi Kyousuke is named Victor Blade and Shindou Takuto is named Riccardo Di Rigo.
- Their ship name comes from Matei Gryphon, the fused Keshin they used. (They are also one of the rare ones that can fused their Keshins together, the other two being Hakuryuu and Shuu).
