Guavfruit is the het ship between Guava and Starfruit from the Inanimate Insanity fandom.
Canon[]
Guava joined Starfruit's band, called Spoiled Lemon, after being created by MePhone4. When Starfruit left, all of the members auditioned to become a lead singer. This ended up being a failure as shown by when Pineapple tried to sing "A Party", though diehard fans like Fan, continued to support them.
OJ and Paper hired Starfruit and his band for their HOJP party at the hotel. Guava ditched the party however due to never being treated the same as the rest of the band. Starfruit butts into OJ and Paper's conversation with Test Tube and Paintbrush to complain about how she left them. He says that he's supposed to be the one to ditch at an event, not Guava. During MePhoneX's murderous rain upon the Hotel, Guava get's killed. Starfruit get's worried and starts to call out to her for a response, but to no avail. He and the rest of the band get murdered by MePhoneX.
The rest of the gang decide to teleport the entire Spoiled Lemon band to the epicenter of the afterlife. Starfruit notices Guava next to him and tells her that he needs to talk with her. Guava tells him to stop before he could begin. Guava explains that he never gave her any time when they were living. She questions why it's different when they are dead. Starfruit explains to her that he's never felt more alive then when he was with her.
He decided to give her an entire solo song at The MePad Dedication Party. After being handed the mic, Starfruit explains that they were all just a part of MePhone4's mind, and due to that they can create some killer lyrics and hands the mic to Guava. Guava tells the audience that she heard that they brutally killed the villain, to which everybody cheers. Starfruit tells her to "take it away" and she proceeds to do so. In the lyrics, Guava explains her backstory after MePhone4 created her. Starfruit came to her one day with dreams and a guitar. In the next sentence, Starfruit comes in to duet for his sentence. He told her to stick with him and he would take her far. Guava claims that now he says that he's the reason she became a star and how dare she dare break out of his repertoire. When the song switches to a Medley and does the "A Party" song, Starfruit and Guava duet. They face away from each other in sync when they say "A party with you". She proceeds to place a hand on his back as she continues the lyric.
Fanon[]
The ship is a rarepair in the community. It was rarely noticed by the community since Guava and Starfruit were very minor characters in the show. Guava didn't even get a single line of dialogue. When the finale premiered however, the ship grew in popularity almost instantly due to Starfruit finally accepting Guava and the two of them having a song together. The two of them had a nice relationship by the end of the finale that felt fitting to the overall movie, being quiet at first, to chaotic, to a nice slow ending. Viewers currently ship this ship quite heavily in the shipping fandom of the community. Their only rival ship on Guava's side in Guavlempine, the ship between Guava, Lemon, and Pineapple.
