Canon

Overture

Charlie and Adam met when her father told her that the leader of the Angel Army wanted to meet with her. When they met, Charlie tried to shake his hand, only to realize that the Adam in front of her was a hologram, and he laughed at her. Adam responded that he did not want to go down in person because hell disgusted him. When Charlie wanted to start talking about her hotel, Adam interrupted her by giving her food that also turned out to be a hologram and laughed at her again. Adam continued talking about a story he had with a girl and mentioned that he said it was Adam, so Charlie realized who he was. Charlie already wanted to talk to Adam about his hotel starting with the "big problem in hell", and Adam started to interrupt trying to guess what that big problem was, suggesting things like herpes, ugly people, math, global warming, etc.

After a long while, Charlie finally explained that the biggest problem with hell was overpopulation, and Adam responded that they already had that under control with the exterminations. Charlie responds that extermination was not the solution because demons are still human souls like angels. Adam laughed at her again, telling her to fuck off while Lute told her that demons weren't like angels because they wasted their chance, and angels are never wrong. Then the song Hell is Forever began where Charlie begins to talk to them about his hotel and Adam responds that hell is eternal, that extermination is entertainment and in the end that they have decided to advance the next extermination to 6 months. As a result, Charlie becomes desperate, worried about how she will be able to carry out her plan in 6 months.

Welcome to Heaven

Adam and Charlie met at the trial to debate whether a soul could be redeemed or not. Charlie was already pissed off with Adam's presence when she arrived at the trial. Charlie first tried to give a definition of "redemption" taken from the dictionary and Adam interrupted her by saying that it was cheesy, causing Sera to not allow any more references to the dictionary. Adam asked Charlie if he even had any proof that redemption was possible, and Charlie took one of the residents of his hotel, Angel Dust, as an example. Adam recognized Angel quickly and, knowing that he is a porn star, said he wasn't worth redeeming. Then Charlie asked him what made a soul end up in heaven, leaving Adam speechless. Then Adam wrote and sent a paper saying that the conditions for ending up in heaven were "act selfless, don't steal and stick it to the man." Then Adam creates a spying orb to confirm if Angel was meeting all those requirements.

In the world it was seen that Angel decided to go drinking with Cherri and that for that reason he did not deserve to go to heaven. Charlie protested saying that anyone goes out drinking after having a bad day, to which Adam responded that there are no bad days in heaven.

After watching the entire scene at the club, Charlie insisted that Angel had met all the requirements on Adam's list, leaving Adam with no arguments. Even so, Adam continued to insist that redemption was not possible and Angel was finished, and finally he revealed in public about the exterminations. That made Charlie rebel along with Emily, accusing heaven of being hypocritical. In the end Adam revealed to Charlie that her girlfriend Vaggie was an exorcist, shocking Charlie and causing her to lose the trial.

The Show Must Go On

Charlie and Adam faced each other for the last time in the hotel battle against the exorcists. She came face to face with him after he "killed" Sir Pentious, which affected her so much that she transformed into a complete demon. Then when Vaggie started to confront Lute and Charlie was going to help her, Adam got in the way by throwing her against the hotel wall and electrocuting her. Then Adam mocked her for wasting her immortal life saving sinners. Charlie responded that sinners are her family, while Adam continued mocking her, calling her girlie. Charlie stabbed her in the arm with her pitchfork and threw her against the wall, telling her to call her "Princess from Hell." They continued fighting until Lucifer came to save Charlie and confront Adam.

GuitarPrincess is considered a rare pairing in the fandom, unpopular due to their hatred for each other and status as enemies. Some ship the two together mainly because of how Adam acts flirtatious towards Charlie, referring to her as “babe” and "Lilith's little hottie". Fans speculate Adam may be interested in Charlie due to her connection to Lilith or Vaggie.
