Gundham Tanaka is a character from the Danganronpa fandom.
Character
Gundham Tanaka is one of the students featured in Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair. A student of Hope's Peak Academy, Gundham is considered the Ultimate Breeder and is a participant in the Killing School Trip.
In Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope's Peak Academy, Gundham is still the Ultimate Breeder, enrolled in Class 77-B along with his other classmates at Hope's Peak Academy.
He, along with his classmates, were brainwashed by Junko Enoshima into becoming her Ultimate Despair. Following the fall of Hope's Peak and the beginning of The Tragedy, Gundham joined the rest of Ultimate Despair in spreading chaos across the ruined world. He was eventually apprehended by the Future Foundation and put into the Neo World Program for rehabilitation.
During the events of the Killing School Trip, Gundham was presented with the Fun House motive. In an attempt to preserve his classmates' lives, Gundham murdered Nekomaru Nidai and was executed by Monokuma. However, due to the nature of the Neo World Program, Gundham was left in a comatose state following the simulation.
Gundham later awakens with the rest of his classmates and helps them stop Ryota Mitarai from using the Hope Video to brainwash the world. With the other awakened Remnants of Despair, Gundham chooses to atone for his sins as a despair.
