Canon[]
“The Pendant That Starts It All (Part One)” (HZ001)[]
Liko sees two girls on her bus watching a Nidothing video, saying that she loves Nidothing. (*This is before meeting Dot)
“Special Training with Cap!” (HZ007)[]
Liko and Roy attempt to talk to Dot, asking for information. They receive a drawing through Quaxly’s door. Roy thanks Dot and runs off, while Liko says more of a heartfelt thank you, and wonders if Dot is warming up to them more. She expresses that she wants to know Dot more, and doesn’t think that she’s simply a cold person.
“The Door That Never Opens” (HZ008)[]
Liko knocking on Dot’s door, HZ008.
Liko attempts to connect with Dot, who remains hidden behind her door. While Liko brings lunch and tries to engage Dot directly, Dot reacts coldly with outbursts, maintaining emotional distance. Dot starts a Nidothing stream where Liko asks a question in chat directly describing her situation with Dot, to which Nidothing responds with advice, indirectly helping Liko know Dot better. Liko blushes greatly (and screams so loudly that Dot herself falls over) at Nidothing seeing and responding to her question, feeling motivated by Nidothing’s words to connect more with Dot.
“Welcome to Paldea!” (HZ009)[]
Liko thanks Dot for another drawing through her door once again. When she leaves, Dot responds, revealing she was waiting for Liko to appear, saying that she’ll be right here once she gets back. Liko sees Nidothing’s outfit hanging on the railing, but doesn’t take time to question it further.
“An Unexpected Picnic!” (HZ013)[]
Liko wants to question Dot about the Nidothing costume, and as she approaches her door she hears Nidothing’s theme song. Liko knocks, asking Dot if she’s inside as there’s something she wants to ask. Dot, nervously, says that she also has something to tell Liko. They both begin to speak, but Liko gets her words out faster. She asks Dot if she’s a hardcore Nidothing fan while blushing, and Dot was cut off from saying “I’m Nidothing” by confusion at Liko’s words. Liko blushes while saying she’s never thought about going full cosplay and continues rambling outside the door, while Dot puts her head in her hands, stressing about the situation.
The RVT’s journey to the Galar region is delayed due to an automatic system check on the Brave Olivine. To pass the time, the crew organizes a picnic on a seaside cliff near Levincia. Liko, feeling that Dot and Ludlow are missing out, asks for Murdock's help to set up an indoor picnic for them, respecting Dot's boundaries. Dot recieves Liko’s message and heads to the kitchen where sandwich ingredients are on the table “prepared”. Ludlow tells Dot that it’s better to enjoy with friends, and Dot blushes at the thought. The episode concludes with Dot sharing a photo of Nidothing and Ludlow enjoying sandwiches, confusing Liko as to how Nidothing is in the picture.
“Fly! Wattrel!” (HZ014)[]
Liko and Murdock talk about events in the previous episodes. Murdock says that the picnic Liko thought of gave Dot more joy than she’d know. Liko says she’s the one who should be grateful, as Dot gave her courage.
“Someone We Can't See! Whosawhatsit?” (HZ015)[]
Liko gets her memories wiped due to an encounter with Spinel's Beheeyem, forgetting her adventures and the reason for her return to Paldea. As she reconnects with Sprigatito, pieces of her memories return. Dot collaborates with a big streamer, Iono, to organize a viral livestream, to help with Liko's search. Multiple times she expresses that she’s incredibly worried about Liko and considers her a friend, even if they haven’t met face to face yet. Dot eventually goes outside for the first time shown in the show. The episode ends in Liko's reunion with her friends, only to discover her pendant has been stolen.
“Quaxly, We Can Do It!” (HZ016)[]
In this episode, Dot officially becomes a Pokémon Trainer by catching Quaxly. The trio (Liko, Roy, Dot) pursue the thief who stole Liko's pendant, leading them to a cargo ship in Levincia. After a confrontation with Spinel's Pokémon, Arboliva emerges from its Ancient Poké Ball, aiding in the retrieval of the pendant. On the Brave Olivine on route to Galar, Dot meets Liko on the wing deck and urged by Quaxly, attempts to express her gratitude. After some hesitation and miscommunication, Dot loudly reveals that she is Nidothing, shocking Liko and Sprigatito. This confession marks a pivotal moment in the Likodot dynamic, as its animated with a lot of blushing, shown similar to a love confession scene. This episode is what truly began the shipping of LikoDot.
“Special Training Time!” (HZ017)[]
Liko is nervous about Dot being Nidothing, saying that her heart and her brain can’t keep up. She paces around Dot’s door thinking about Nidothing being there. Liko and Roy go to ask Dot for advice, but Liko is seen fidgeting and blushing over seeing Dot again, though she claims not to be nervous. Once they get in Dot’s room, she sits on the bed with Dot as Roy sits in a chair, and she blushes more and thinks to herself that she can’t seem to calm down being in her room.

“As Long as I'm with My Friends” (HZ027)[]
Liko dragging Dot to find Hatenna, HZ027.
In this episode, the Rising Volt Tacklers arrive in Galar's Wild Area, where Dot plans to meet an informant about Black Rayquaza sightings. However, the informant doesn't show up, leading the group to spend time together outdoors. During this downtime, Liko notices Dot's self-imposed pressure and self-hatred, and suggests they cook curry together, aiming to help with Dot's stress and create good memories. Despite initially disagreeing, Dot agrees, and the group begins to cook curry, Liko determinedly blushing and asking if she can make Dot her very first curry. Liko and Roy engage in a friendly curry competition, including Dot. Throughout the cooking process, Liko encourages Dot, emphasizing the importance of the heart in cooking, which flusters Dot but also shows her care and attention. Liko and Dot have a talk while Liko gets them both second servings of curry. Dot opens up about not caring about the taste of food, but enjoying it with others makes it better. She also says that some things are kinda terrifying, and Liko states that she knows that new things are scary, but from now on they’ll discover all the new things together, causing Dot to blush and hurry to eat more curry. At the end of the episode, Liko and Dot have another talk, this time about the day, Liko admitting she was “trying too hard” so that Dot wouldn’t beat herself up due to her stress. Dot becomes flustered, then thanks Liko and once again opens up about feeling useless, to which Liko responds that Dot is amazing. Dot blushes again and says that she had a good day, to which Liko smiles and blushes as well, saying she’s glad she tried too hard.
“Mission: Find Oinkologne’s Partner!” (HZ036)[]
The episode begins with Dot having a Nidothing livestream, during which she notices a commenter in Pigton Town struggling to find a partner for the upcoming Multi Battle Tournament. Dot immediately thinks of Liko as the perfect person to help and calls her into her room directly after the stream. Liko, flustered and nervous, is startled to realize she is the one Nidothing had in mind, making her blush. Dot explains the situation and Liko eagerly agrees to assist her idol Nidothing.
“A Wild Mom Appears!” (HZ041)[]
In this episode, Dot’s mother Franka, arrives on the Brave Olivine, revealing that Dot is on a “trial period” with the crew. While Dot initially struggles with her mother’s energetic presence (going to her room, shutting down and stressing out), Liko and Roy show concern for their friend and seek to understand her perspective. Liko’s gentle approach helps Dot open up about her past, including her creating the RVT app and her reasons for joining the crew. Their conversation allows Dot to reflect on her growth. Throughout these interactions, it’s proved that Liko greatly respects Dot’s boundaries and knows them even more than Franka, which helps Dot to be eased out of her depressive state.
“Welcome to Naranja Academy!” (HZ046)[]
Liko tells Dot that she looks great in the uniform, to which Dot blushes and stutters at the compliment.
“Dot and Nidothing” (HZ049)[]
On the way to Levincia for Dot’s Tera Training test, Liko tries to give Dot confidence before being notified about a new Nidothing video that Dot scheduled beforehand. Liko blushes and asks Dot if any of her videos would be filmed outside, and Dot says no. Liko notices Dot’s nervousness about balancing her identity as herself and Nidothing, and about performing in front of cameras. While Dot films as Nidothing in Levincia, Liko observes from a distance, recognizing the tension between Nidothing and Dot’s desire to be herself. When Tinkatink is attacked by a Varoom who steals her costume, Dot initially hesitates due to the cameras, but Liko’s presence alongside Roy helps her regain focus and command her Pokémon in battle properly. After successfully calming Varoom, Dot thanks Liko and Roy for their support, acknowledges that the cameras no longer intimidate her when battling with Quaxly, and decides to take her Tera Training test as herself rather than as Nidothing.
“The Flower Tower” (HZ051)[]
In this episode, Liko, Dot, and Roy explore the wild to gather information to make reports on for Naranja Academy. Along the way, Liko notices Dot’s curiosity and excitement about local phenomena, such as the Flower Tower legend. When Liko falls into a ravine, Dot’s concern is shown. Dot observes Liko’s resourcefulness and ability to be calm under pressure, while Liko notices Dot’s growing confidence in unfamiliar situations. Dot is excited that Liko saw the pillar of flowers, though she forgot to take pictures.
“A New Song for Fuecoco” (HZ062)[]
Liko and Dot become concerned about Roy’s absence during the open participation segment. Despite them both being socially anxious and having reluctance to draw attention, they work together to support their friend Roy with Quaxwell taking initiative on stage and forcing the girls to join in. Liko and Dot coordinate a clever performance using Quaxwell and Floragato to distract the audience and buy Roy extra time. There is also a LikoDot hint, as Quaxwell and Floragato dance together.
“Where the Adventure Leads” (HZ089)[]
Liko saves Dot from falling, and Dot holds Liko’s waist.
“Eyes to the Skies Once Again, Part 1” (HZ090)[]
In the outro, LikoDot are seen chasing after Pokémon together. (This is seen in every intro from this point on up until HZ???)
"Clash of the Nidothing Fans" (HZ093)[]
Liko’s nervous to call Dot after all this time, and seemingly blushes a little bit. Liko says that Nidothing still makes her nervous in her own way, and states that NidoFans are very passionate. She also worries about not being a big enough fan after not watching Nidothing videos for a while, but Roy assures her that she is still the biggest Nidothing fan.
Fanon[]
GuruminShipping became increasingly popular with the release of HZ016, as the Nidothing reveal scene was animated with heavy blushing, beautiful lighting and had dialogue similar to a love confession, with the “I like/love you” swapped out for “I am the real Nidothing, Liko!”
In the first episode, Liko states that she loves Nidothing. From HZ008 continuously up to HZ016, LikoDot's friendship though having a rough start built up through their interactions, separated by Dot's door. Ever since the release of HZ016, LikoDot has continued to be hinted at in almost every episode that they are in together, especially before Rising Hope.
During an interview, Liko's Japanese voice actress Minori Suzuki claimed that Dot and Liko’s bond is "a bit deeper than just a friendship".
Rival Ships[]
GuruminShipping mainly rivals HorizonsShipping, AmeLiko, and CurryShipping (Liko x Roy x Dot).
