Gusmity is the friendship between Gus Porter and Amity Blight from the The Owl House fandom.
Canon[]
In "I Was a Teenage Abomination", Amity is revealed to be Willow's bully which is why Gus dislikes her. When Luz brings up what happened to Amity, Gus tells her that he and Willow saw her asking for extra credit. In "Hooty's Moving Hassle", Gus isn't fond of the way Amity and her friends treats willow and is willing to show off to Amity. In "Understanding Willow", Gus is shown angry towards Amity after she burnt her memories. After that Gus and Amity get on better terms due to Amity and Willow patching things up, this is shown in "Enchanting Grom Fright" where Amity greets Gus and Willow after bumping into Luz. Gus is also shown to feel bad for how Amity was Grom Queen, he later on cheers for Luz and Amity. In "Wing it Like Witches", Amity asks Gus and Willow for help after finding out Luz is in trouble.
In "Escaping Expulsion", Amity feels bad after Gus, Luz and Willow get expelled from Hexside. After finding out Luz is in trouble, Amity gets Gus for help to save her and the two go to Willow's house. Amity then faces her mother while fighting the abomaton and tells her that Gus, Willow and Luz are her friends and demands for her to let them back into Hexside. In "Eclipse Lake", Amity helps take care of Luz alongside Gus and Willow. In "Follies at the Coven Parade", it is revealed Gus gave Amity a cookbook to improve her Spanish, he nods and gives her a thumbs up after mentioning this. In "Labyrinth Runners", Amity asks Gus and Willow for help about Luz's text at the cafeteria. Gus then questions the amount of hearts which causes Amity to blush and tell him that it's for her. When Hunter and Gus are approached by Amity and Willow, Amity comments on how she can't believe Gus took down a coven head.
In "Thanks to Them", it is revealed the pair and Willow have gotten closer in the human realm. This shown by how Gus quickly rushes to see what happened after Amity trips and how they hold each other's arms. After Willow, Gus and Amity find out the code Vee comments on how they must've been friends for ages, Amity confesses that it wasn't always like this between her and Gus and Willow. When Vee suggests to take a photo, Amity puts her arm around Gus and he does the same to her. After the Haunted Hayride, Amity notices that Gus is upset and puts a hand on his shoulder.

While the show doesn't focus on their relationship, it didn't stop fans from supporting the duo and creating headcanons. Shippers would think they would get along due to their knowledge and being star students. Some assumed Amity was like an older sister towards Gus or that Gus was suspicious of Amity because of her past behavior. Shippers had hoped to see the pair interact more to figure about what their relationship is like. Which is why shippers were glad to see Gus and Amity interacting in "Thanks to Them", which unveiled more about their relationship. Despite Amity being a canon lesbian and their notable age gap, it hadn't stopped some fans from romantically shipping Gus and Amity which caused a lot of discourse.
