Hadegara is the het ship between Hades and Megara from the Hercules fandom.

Canon

Megara became a servant of Hades when she gave him her soul to bring her boyfriend back to life. However, he left her for another woman soon after, leaving Megara heartbroken and being forced to serve Hades as prisoner. From then on, she's been forcibly bound to him and forced to follow his commands. Despite being Hades' servant, she always talks back to him and doesn't take him seriously. However, when Megara accidentally meets Hercules and reveals this to him, Hades gets extremely enraged with his servants who were supposed to kill him. But sees the opportunity of using Megara for her to get closer to Hercules, and potentially killing him, so he can take down Zeus and the other Gods. So after Megara gets closer to Hercules, and starts catching feelings for him, Hades asks her what his weak point is. Megara firmly states she won't collaborate in Hades' assassination plan. But Hades reminds her that he is her master, and that if she wants her freedom back, she must obey him. When she doesn't agree, he forces her by tying her up in smoke and taking her to Hercules so she can confess that she was working with Hades.

Chaos ensues after Hades enacts his plan, but Megara saves Hercules' life, putting her own in danger, and ultimately dying. Hades' plan ends up failing, and Megara's soul ends up in the Underworld. However, Hercules ends up saving her, and freeing her from Hades.

Fanon

Despite Megara being in a romantic relationship with Hercules at the end of the film, it has not stopped some people from shipping Hadegara. The ship doesn't have that many fan works or that much presence fandom wise, and it's frowned upon by a big part of the fandom due to their dynamic as master and servant during most of the movie's duration. However, it's still one of the top five most popular ships within the Disney Hercules fandom.

On AO3, the ship currently has over 10 fanfics about it. Most of them depict the two in a romantic relationship. Some times, their toxic dynamic is explored. Some others, Megara's sarcastic tone and sassy personality is played along Hades'. And some other fan works depict them in a softer way than they are depicted in canon.
