Hafar is the slash ship between Hades and Jafar from the Hercules and Aladdin fandoms.

Canon

Hades and Jafar are from two different Disney movies. However the two met in the Hercules: The Series special called Hercules and the Arabian Nights. The two also coexist in multiple Disney crossover media, such Kingdom Hearts, House of Mouse, Mirrorverse, etc. They are the main antagonist of their respective films. Both are manipulator, sarcastic and low tempered as well.

Hercules and the Arabian Nights

Hades and Jafar met when Hades was doing his work and found out that Jafar's soul was not cooperating. Once Jafar introduced himself, he he asked Hades to revive him. They both realize they have a common goal: end up with the boy who defeat them and overtake the Olympus and Agrabah, respectively. After that, the two make a deal to kill each other's respective enemy. So Hades tells Jafar to attack Hercules and give him an new snake staff that comes alive when he holds him.

At the end, Hades and Jafar failed trying to defeat Aladdin and Hercules respectively. Then Jafar suggested making Aladdin and Hercules have a misunderstanding and quarrel, and Hades accepted. First they would kidnap Icarus, Hercules' friend, and Jafar disguised as an old man would tell Hercules that Aladdin kidnapped him. Later they would kidnap Abu and Pain and Panic disguised as Hercules would told him that Hercules kidnapped him. At the start they plan is successful and Aladdin and Hercules have a fight, and both think that they have won.

After all, the two started to talk about plans to conquer the Olympian and Hades offerd Jafar the title of "Lord of the Dead". Only for later Pain and Panin to warn them that Hercules and Aladdin are on their way and the plan failed. At the end Jafar was defeat by Aladdin again and his soul was dragged down to the River Styx.

Fanon

There are many people who like the idea of Hades and Jafar together. Mostly due the two being some of the most Iconic Disney villians. The Hercules TV show crossover episode motivated some people to ship them as well. Some people like to combine them in a trio with Capitain Hook from Peter Pan.

• In the Descendants film series, the daughter Hades had with Maleficent is friends with Jafar's son, Jay.
