Hainari is the slash ship between Alhaitham and Tighnari from the Genshin Impact fandom.
Canon[]
Tighnari and Alhaitham don't share much of a relationship in comparison to their equal strong bond with Cyno and Kaveh. Alhaitham respects Tighnari for his loyalty and unwavering kindness towards Kaveh, despite the latter getting himself into ridiculous predicaments that are arguably worth headaches. Tighnari in contrast acknowledges Alhaitham's controversial morals and is aware of how damaging it is to Kaveh, Alhaitham's roommate. In official artwork posted by Hoyoverse, Alhaitham is showcased in his birthday art fantasizing about Tighnari and their friends celebrating him. A similar scenario occurs in art featuring Cyno and Tighnari; Tighnari is supposedly imagining Alhaitham wind gliding. It's a visual confirmation regarding their very small but existing friendship.
Alhaitham and Tighnari have notable characteristics that can be compared. The two are notably highly intelligent and cunning, as expected from most persons in Sumeru. Tighnari has more of a personality in comparison to Alhaitham's dull stoicism. An Opposites Attract trope is activated for their prominent clashing traits. However the Not So Different trope can be placed nevertheless, for they do have more in common than what is initially sought.

Fanon[]
The Hainari ship is a popular ship for both Tighnari and Alhaitham, though it doesn't overcome Cynonari, Kavetham, or even Kavenari in numbers. Shippers who have become fond of rarepairs often find themselves attracted to this pairing. Many reasons can include their opposite personalities or finding endearment in constructing a more detailed interrelation between Alhaitham and Tighnari if they ever had one. Fans oppositely come up with separate headcanons with conclusions about the two having a rocky relationship to even hating each other.
This theory often comes from Tighnari's perspective towards Alhaitham in his voice lines: He warns the Traveler about Alhaitham, for the latter is known for not making the best decisions that greatly upset others. Their very minimum interactions towards each other also plays a role in this, along with Tighnari being an extremely good friend to Kaveh whom is mentally suffering from annoyance from his roommate. But with the official events and artwork posted by Hoyoverse, shippers can confirm their status as casual friends.
Fans often like to depict the two with a snark-to-snark humor, and enjoy creating "fluff" fanart/fanfictions. The majority of them noticeably have a fondness for the Big Guy, Little Guy dynamic that plays between them. They currently have over 180+ romantic works on AO3.
