HaloDust is the friendship between Emily and Angel Dust from the Hazbin Hotel fandom.

Canon

Season 1

Welcome to Heaven

Angel Dust is mentioned at the court meeting in Heaven, when Adam asks Charlie for proof that sinners can be redeemed. Charlie claims that he is making incredible progress, to which Adam says he isn't worth being getting into Heaven. After a bit of arguing back and forth, Adam uses an orb to watch Angel Dust. He is seen at a club with Cherri Bomb and the other hotel residents. Cherri tries to convince him to have a few drinks, but he hesitates as it's been a long night for him. He eventually agrees, and Adam says he is not worthy of Heaven due to that. Charlie protests, and insists he will make good decisions, with Emily also on her side. After Sera agrees to keep watching, Angel Dust is seen doing everything on Adam's checklist of what gets a soul into Heaven. Adam tries to refute by asking why he isn't in Heaven if he made good decisions, and Emily begins to question this as well. Sera attempts to stop the questioning, saying they know when a soul arrives and when they pass divine judgment.

Emily then starts singing about how Angel Dust did improve and tries to convince Sera to give him a second chance. Throughout the song, Emily is fully supportive of Angel's redemption along with Charlie.

Fanon

While not a popular friendship pairing in the fandom, fans do tend to appreciate Emily's kindness to Angel from the start. Some think there is a possiblity Angel Dust will get redeemed and meet Emily face-to-face, or Emily would fall and meet him and Hell. The two are somewhat connected through Molly, with Emily being a fellow angel in Heaven and Angel Dust being her twin brother. There are a few fan headcanons about Molly often talking about her brother to Emily, and she therefore knew about him before the court meeting. The relationship between the two are still somewhat unexplored, with only 14 works on AO3.
