Hamugis is the femslash ship between Kotone Shiomi and Aigis from the Persona fandom.
Canon[]
Aigis is introduced during the Yakushima event. Kotone met her at Jyomon-Cedar Tree after she got separated from the girls. Though Akihiko and Junpei lose interest upon discovering that Aigis is an android and she isn’t into guys, Kotone doesn’t mind her company. Aigis tells Kotone that her purpose is to protect her and that she wants to stand by her.
Eventually, it is revealed that Aigis wants to be with Kotone to monitor Ryoji. Aigis sealed Ryoji into Kotone to prevent the Fall, though she did not remember doing so. However, as Aigis becomes more human, she retains her desire to be near Kotone.
During the game's final month, the player can choose to develop their bond formally through Aigis' Social Link. Aigis struggles with her romantic feelings for Kotone, believing herself to be an inadequate partner due to her nature as a robot and she wasn’t born male.
Regardless of player choices, the two end up quite close. They have several one-on-one scenes towards the end of the game. The game's final scene is notable, in which Kotone dies after falling asleep in Aigis' lap. The last song, Memories of You, is about Aigis' feelings for Kotone and her heartbreak at her tragic passing.

During the typhoon in September, Aigis will often sneak into Kotone’s room to check on Kotone’s condition without anyone noticing.
Social Link[]
Aigis’s Social Link with Kotone is nearly identical to Makoto’s route, except some dialogues have changed. On rank 9th, Aigis confesses to Kotone that even though she wasn’t born male, she wants to be with her and stay by her side. She will tell Kotone that she doesn’t want her to fall in love with a guy or be in a relationship with them (whether or not Kotone is already in a relationship with Akihiko, Ken, or Shinjiro). There are two options: accept Aigis’ romantic feelings for her or stay as friends. Regardless of the choice, Aigis will always love her dearly.
The Weird Masquerade[]
In Act 2, after Aigis saves Kotone from the Shadows in Yakushima, she embraces her and swears to be by her side, protecting her. After the Yakashima trip, Kotone and Aigis volunteer to pass out flyers to people.
In Act 3, after Aigis breaks free from Ikutsuki’s control thanks to Kotone and manages to free everyone. Kotone comes to Aigis’ side to check on her if is alright.
In Act 5, in the final scenes, Kotone chooses to spend her last moments with Aigis as she passes away peacefully on her lap after everyone regains their memories of the Dark Hour and the promises they made.

Persona Q2[]
- Even though Aigis is not from Kotone’s timeline, she still wants to protect her, the same way for Makoto. This shows that Aigis is into Makoto and his counterpart regardless of gender.
Fanon[]
Hamugis is a well-like Femslash pairing in the Persona 3 fanbase. Their fan shipping is very supportive and popular among yuri fans. It is less popular than its counterpart, Aikoto. They are often portrayed in fan art and fan fiction. Some fan art described Aigis as a guy to be with Kotone. Their fanship increased in Persona 3 The Weird Masquerade and spin-off Persona Q2.
