HanVi is the het ship between Videl and Son Gohan from the Dragon Ball fandom.
Canon[]
Videl and Son Gohan met at Orange Star High School, when Gohan resumed his studies after those given by his mother Chichi, but in the meantime, he did justice by fighting crime by turning into a super Saiyan. In succession, he had Bulma retrieve a special dress, which will be that of Great Saiyaman. When Gohan entered his classroom he sat next to Erasa who in turn was sitting next to Videl. Both Gohan and Videl used to run away from class to fight crime, but she didn't know at the time that Gohan was Great Saiyaman, but she began to suspect him by noticing his strange attitudes. When she discovered his secret, Videl blackmailed Gohan into revealing to everyone who he was, in order to get lessons from him to learn how to fly.
When Videl arrived at Gohan's house to convince him to teach her to fly, she finally sat down and had dinner with the family, and when Videl was explaining to Chichi how she lived her daily life in a mansion with 50 rooms and ready servants, Chichi couldn't help but feel like a golden opportunity was just beyond the horizon. So, he suggested that Gohan and Videl get married in the not too distant future. And when Goten repeated the question, Gohan was quick to deny the possibility. However, judging by the way Videl looked at Gohan afterwards, the thought of marrying him didn't seem all that bad to her. Soon after, as Videl was returning home after their first day of training, Gohan suggested to her that it would be better if she had her hair short.
After hearing this, Videl initially assumed that Gohan had given a hint because she thought her shorter hair would be fine. Then she asked him, blushing, if the girls with the shortest hair were more his type. Gohan's explanation of his suggestion was only so that her hair would not get in the way during his fights, and this was not the answer Videl hoped for, so she got angry and went home. After a day she returned for the second lesson, and listened to Gohan's advice and came with short hair.
Once the World Tournament began, Sharpener took advantage of it as an opportunity to flirt with Videl and get closer to her. However, Videl could not have been less interested in his advances if he had tried. So while he was talking about the possibility of getting some juice with each other later, Videl wasn't paying any attention to him, and she was instead examining the area, and eventually, her face lit up. Videl would then leave Sharpener to meet Gohan so quickly that she left when he even finished talking about a possible date between them.
This obviously didn't go very well with Sharpener tracking them down not long after and commenting on how friendly they were to each other, much to his chagrin. Videl would then very much suggest in no uncertain terms that Sharpener was jealous. She in a very bold and direct move, would later firmly take Gohan's arm and leave with him in a very suggestive way, right in front of Sharpener, just to make him understand clearly who her affections were. Gohan, on the other hand, seemed to be quite agitated about how Videl was behaving, but he perfectly agreed. By then Videl had recognized her growing romantic feelings for Gohan and had no qualms about making subtle advances, because he felt comfortable with him.
Once the Majin Buu Saga had begun, and Videl was accompanying Gohan and Kibito to find the source of the threat, there came a point where Videl couldn't go any further because she felt like she was just slowing them down because she hadn't gotten used to the wind blowing in her face yet. Which meant she couldn't keep her eyes open, so she decided to go back. But as she watched Gohan leave began to realize how deep her feelings were and made it clear that he had very deep romantic feelings for Gohan, as she stated that when he returned, she would strive to date him.
After Gohan was found by Kibito and the Supreme Kaio to extract the Z Sword, Elder Kai was freed from the sword after Gohan broke it in two, Goku formulated a plan to convince him to help them. He saw that the Kai was a pervert as big as Master Muten, and so Goku suggested that Gohan allow the Kai to do things of a sexual nature with Videl, but he didn't take it too well and got angry. Although Videl wasn't his girlfriend at the time, Gohan was beginning to develop feelings for her that went beyond mere friendship.
At the beginning of Dragon Ball Super Videl and Gohan were married, and much later they conceived their firstborn named Pan.

Pan is the daughter of Gohan and Videl, as well as being the granddaughter of Son Goku and Chichi, as well as Mr. Satan. She is also the great-granddaughter of Gine and Bardock, the parents of her grandfather Goku. Pan is also a friend of Bra and Trunks, the children of Vegeta and Bulma.
Pan is first introduced towards the end of the Dragon Ball Z manga. She has a very important role in Dragon Ball GT (filler series), which takes place 5 years after the end of Z. She is the last living member of the Z Warriors, 100 years after the end of Dragon Ball GT.
She returned in the 2022 Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie.

HanVi is one of the most popular couples within the Dragon Ball fandom, as many believed that Videl was actually interested in Gohan from their first meeting, hoping that her feelings had been clearer for him as the story progresses. The relationship between Gohan and Videl was undoubtedly one of the relationships that experienced the most on screen the accumulation and development of any canonical pair of the Z series. The ship is one of the three main canonical saiyan ships (with VegeBul and GoChi) that has a saiyan component attracted by a strong element.
The ship almost currently has 600 works on Ao3.
It is the most popular ship for both.
