Handon is the het ship between Hope Mikaelson and Landon Kirby from the Legacies fandom.
Canon[]
Hope and Landon first met briefly in The Originals when Landon approaches her to ask for a date. She declines initially, but later when attending the Town Square party of her own accord with her uncle Elijah, he finds her there and she agrees to a dance. After this, they do not meet for another two years.
Their next meeting comes when Hope, along with Alaric and MG, arrive at a church to rescue the newly-triggered Rafael from his foster parents and a priest from an exorcism. They bring him to the Salvatore Boarding School's werewolf transition space before he turns fully into a wolf. They're happy to see one another again, and after it's found that Landon is resistant to vampire compulsion he is brought to the school's transition space as well. There, Landon and Hope eventually share a kiss.
The relationship becomes tumultuous when Landon steals from the school, and feeling betrayed by him Hope spends much of their following interactions ignoring him. It isn't until Hope is assigned to test Landon for any supernatural lineage that would explain his resistance to compulsion, and she uses this opportunity to use a truth-orb on him in order to know if he truly is sorry for stealing from her home or not. He offers her a sincere apology and remorse for what he did, and because of this, Hope gives him and a relationship between them a second chance. Continuing even when Landon has made to leave the school given it is deemed unsafe for a human to stay there, the pair part ways with a romantic kiss at a bus stop, with Hope gifting him an enchanted bracelet he can use to call for help.
In Maybe I Should Start from the End, Landon first refers to Hope as his girlfriend, yet jokes she would kill him if she knew he'd said that.
Hope and Landon have had a number of on/off occurrences in their relationship throughout all four seasons of the show, due to being plagued by a being called Malivore, the creature who directly caused them to split twice against their will and ended with Hope having no choice but to kill Landon at his behest to destroy the creature. The trauma of having to kill Landon caused Hope to turn off her humanity, so she wouldn't have to feel the grief of not only having lost him for good, but also having had to do the deed herself.
