Hantunia is the het ship between Handy and Petunia from the Happy Tree Friends fandom.
Canon[]
During their first appearance, ”House Warming,” Petunia is seen hugging Handy for building her a treehouse, in the same episode, Handy does anything he can to save her. He tries grabbing a hose, but can't due to not having any hands. He tries to pour a water bucket, but it was gas. So he resorts to stomping the fire out, but it ends up in her being very distorted but somehow alive.
Handy is seen grieving Petunia's death in “Happy Trails Pt. 2: Jumping the Shark.”
In probably their most famous episode, “I Nub You,” they form a relationship after Petunia loses her arms, they are seen doing activities that Cuddles and Giggles are doing, however they were all activities requiring arms. So they do the activities their own way. One of the activites was bowing, in which they used themselves, however, they end up getting cut up into pieces in the pin setters. They get sewwen tougether by Lumpy but he somehow accidentally put them together, somehow with his arms.
They're also one of the few couples to get a Love Bites short, that being “My Better Half.” During the episode, they are seen riding a swan boat in a river but it was actually a place where logs get cut, causing both of them to get cut in half.

Hantunia is one of the most popular ships in the Happy Tree Friends fandom, mostly because they seem to have some romantic experiences in the series. However, some drama does come up, as Handy is most likely a sociopathic, making some people seen this ship as uncomfortable. Although, most people, even the people who think Handy's a sociopath, still ship them together. Their fan work normally shows Handy being assisted by Petunia due to his disability.
Its main rivals are Hanmole and Handnutty for Handy, and Toothtunia and Gigtunia for Petunia.
