Harlick is the het ship between Harley Quinn and Rick Flag from the DC Extended Universe fandom.
Canon[]
Suicide Squad[]
During the Midway City battle, Flag and Floyd Lawton were attacked by creatures working for Enchantress, knowns as Adversary's Eyes. They confonted the creatures head on. Since Flag wanted to show Lawton that he could trust him, he attacked the creatures. However, this did not go well and Flag will be assasinated. That's when Harley appeared, alongside Edwards, and saved his life.
Later on, however, upon reaching the roof of the building, Flag and his allies were ambushed by the Joker and his gang. Flag tried to activate the button of the HVT1 to explode Harley's head, but could not because it was deactivated and saw Harley get on the helicopter and witnessed how Waller had the helicopter destroyed. After this, Flag and the others took Waller safely in their helicopter and continued with the mission.
The Suicide Squad[]
As Harley runs across the sand, Rick follows firing his gun against the soldiers as he does. He gets radio'd that one section is open and gets TDK/The Detachable Kid to take care of them. Harley is very confused by the name, and not impressed by TDK's poor performance. Rick says that he didn't pick the team, and the two hide behind the rock as they're fired upon.
After nearly dying in a car crash, DuBois says that they need to get to Jotunheim, but Rick says that they need to get something else first: Harley. Peacemaker can't believe he want to risk the whole mission for her, and Rick says that they don't leave one of their own behind. When they arrive, Rick goes over the plan to save her, and everyone gets in position.
After she makes her own escape, Harley sees Flag and DuBois getting ready to break her out. As Flag gets ready to tell Peacemaker to fire, Harley shows up behind him and asks what they're doing. Rick says that they're here to save her, and Harley can't believe he would do that. He says it was a really good plan and she suggests that she go back in so that they can still do it. She then comes over and hugs him for an awkwardly long amount of time. Then, the continue their mission.

Fanon[]
Shipping the two really began after the release of The Suicide Squad, which had a lot more focus on the two's relationship than the first film. Many thought that Rick's devotion to Harley, and wanting to save her, was a sign of possible romantic feelings.
On AO3, HarleyFlag is the most written ship for Rick Flag and the seventh most written for Harley.
