Haruai is the femslash ship between Haruka Kiritani and Airi Momoi from the Project SEKAI fandom.
Canon[]
Airi and Haruka are both members of the idol group MORE MORE JUMP! as well as students at Miyamasuzaka Girls' Academy, with Airi being a year older. Haruka thinks that Airi deserved better as an idol. Meanwhile Airi admires Haruka and her "natural charm." She also reminds her to take breaks regularly. Prior to the their group's Main Story, the two had quit the idol industry and become jaded by it, especially Airi as she had to outright hear her manager call her average as an idol.
Main Story[]
Before the formation of MORE MORE JUMP!, Haruka and Airi had both heard of each other, including knowing each other's idol groups; Airi was part of QT, and Haruka was part of ASRUN. At first, Airi was reluctant to speak with Haruka as she thought of her as a "big shot idol" who was only going to look down on her. This is shown during their first meeting when Haruka and Minori witness Airi interrogating Shizuku on their school's rooftop. Haruka decides to enter their conversation to stop it from taking too long, and Airi is shocked to see Haruka, with her blurting out "you're a student here too?!". Haruka attempts to talk to Shizuku, but Airi interrupts her asking angrily why she'd eavesdrop on their conversation. Haruka retorts, mentioning Airi was yelling so loud anyone could hear her and that she has no intention of telling anyone about their conversation, as she mentions she "still knows when to keep my mouth shut". Airi stutters and angrily remarks she hates dealing with big shot idols due to their attitudes, before demanding her to absolutely not tell anyone about the conversation. When Airi tells Minori and Haruka to leave, Haruka tells her that it's rude to suddenly show up and demand everyone else to leave, before mentioning that Minori was practicing her dancing.
Later in the story, after the girls had become closer and watched Airi go off at the Cheerful*Days members, Airi asks if Haruka would like to join their dance practice and mentions that she'd love to get some pointers from a top idol like herself. Haruka declines and then blurts out she has no right to be an idol after being reminded of Mai from Shizuku's words. The next day, Minori, Airi and Shizuku run into Mai who was coming to apologize to Haruka, and they learn her story and how she knows she's the reason why Haruka quit being an idol. After her and Haruka's confrontation, Airi apologizes for tricking Haruka to get her to come over to the rooftop, but Haruka assures she understands them being worried about what Haruka had said. Airi then asks if Haruka really is okay with just quitting like that, and Haruka admits she doesn't want Mai to keep regretting what happened in the past before saying she herself doesn't have any regrets as an idol.
When Haruka talks about her inability to stand onstage and has come to the conclusion that it would be impossible for her to become an idol again, Airi tells her to not completely give up. After Haruka leaves, Airi says she thinks Haruka is a true idol, the real deal and that it would be a huge shame if she doesn't get back to being an idol, before asking if there isn't anything they could do for her.

Despite being groupmates in-canon, Haruai is one of the least popular MORE MORE JUMP! ships due to their limited interactions. It is rivaled by Shizuairi and Minoharu, Airi and Haruka's most popular ships respectively. It is sometimes shipped alongside Minoshizu. Haruai currently has 58 works on AO3.
It isn't a common ship in the fandom, as most see it as purely platonic or ship its rivals.
