Harusaki is the het ship between Maki Harukawa and Chihiro Fujisaki from the Danganronpa fandom.
Canon[]
These two have never interacted in canon. However, they interact in Ultimate Development Plan.
As Kaede and Maki walk together, they come across Chihiro crying. Kaede questions this and assumes Chihiro tripped, which led Maki to say "...I don't think she'd cry from tripping." Chihiro apologized for making them worry and explained that she noticed an injured bird by the dorms. The bird suddenly died, which frightened Chihiro and gave him guilt, assuming that he had a chance to save the bird. Maki explained that wasn't a very reasonable thing to cry about, but told Chihiro it wasn't his fault with evidence. Chihiro agreed yet explained more on exactly why he cried. Maki was still stubborn on the idea that it wasn't a good reason to cry, but said "But... I do think it's fortunate that it had someone to cry for it," understanding him. Chihiro thanked Kaede and Maki. Maki then questioned what Chihiro was doing "here". Chihiro expressed how he thought of making a grave for the bird. However, he reminded him self that it would not be allowed on school property. Kaede agreed, and stated how someone would step on it anyway. Maki suggested for Chihiro to talk to Gundham about it, since he is knowledgeable in the criteria of animal burials. Chihiro thought this was an excellent idea. Maki suggested that she would go with Chihiro, which surprised him. Kaede explained that Maki may seem "edgy" on the outside, but in the inside is very kind. Maki stated that Kaede didn't need to go with them. However,Kaede did not like this idea and demanded that she would go with them. Chihiro giggled and sincerely thanked them. Maki replied "I can't just leave a crybaby like you alone... That would leave a bad taste in my mouth." with a smile on her face.
They also interact in Danganronpa S.
Chiaki asks Maki if she can come over to her dorm to play video games for the night. Maki accepts the offer with a warning. Chihiro joins the conversation, surprised that they get along so well. He questions if they play video games together often. Maki replies honestly, saying they play only when Chiaki asks. Chiaki asks if Chihiro would want to play with them this night, since the game can allow more than two players. Chiaki even suggests that everyone can wear pajamas. Chihiro is expressly unsure about this, even after it being confirmed that it the game meet up will be in Chiaki's dorm. Chihiro is still nervous, and remembers he has to debug a program. Maki was okay with this, and explained that there will be late-night snacks made my Kirumi in the restaurant. Chiaki replies, noting how kind Maki is. Maki and Chiaki get going, leaving Chihiro. After they leave, Chihiro is notably sad, stating under his breath, "Ugh, I panicked. Me and my dumb secrets..."
In one of Maki's Danganronpa S events, Sayaka asks what Maki's prefered partner type is. Maki responds that her ideal partner is a lonely crybaby that is truly gentle and kind. Though it is not confirmed that she was talking about Chihiro, this is a detailed description of Chihiro and his nature.
In another scene from Danganronpa S (where it can be infered Chihiro confessed his true gender upon Maki), Chihiro states to Maki that it is not that common for Maki to discuss something with him. Maki replies that there is no need to be nervous since this discussion is not a "shakedown". Chihiro apologizes for his behavior. However, Maki confesseses she was joking around. She notes that Chihiro is so strong yet so cowardly "in the strangest ways". Chihiro was shocked, emphasizing how she called him strong. Maki confirmed he was strong, reminding him he has been hiding a secret for so long and is now suddenly talking about it. Chihiro apologizes again for decieving her for such a long time. Maki explains he shouldn't worry since she relates to reacting the same way when it comes to secrets. Maki questions how he felt when he decided to reveal his secret to so many people. Chihiro explained that it was because he wanted to change. He was tired of running away from his own weakness. Maki responded saying that he really is strong, unlike her. Chihiro blushed, questioning if he really was strong. He explained that his friends helped him, and it was a team effort. After some questions, Maki explains why she cannot reveal her secret. Maki then apologizes for trying to get advice out of him. Chihiro confirms that it is completely fine to talk to him when in need for advice, and that she can do so anytime. Chihiro guesses that Shuichi and Kaito most likely give better advice. This shocks Maki, since she never explicitly told Chihiro it was those two who know her secret. Chihiro apologizes, however Maki explains there is no need to do so since this conversation helped with her conflicts.

Harusaki sailed due to how their personalities compliment eachother. Both of these characters of secrets that can severely change their reputation to others when revealed. Their trope is the strong girl and weak boy. It is not that common, yet it is normally loved in fandoms. Nevertheless, because they have not interacted canonly, this ship is not popular. When it comes to Chihiro, people mostly ship him with Mondo Owada, Kiyotaka Ishimaru, and Makoto Naegi. And Maki is more likely to be shipped with Kaede Akamatsu, Shuichi Saihara, and Kaito Momota.
In the majority of the Danganronpa fandom, most people see this ship as a "crack ship". This ship is also covered by other popular ships (as seen above). There are even no fanfictions of this ship due to its rare-ness. However, it is imaginable how they would interact and why. At first glance, they seem very different although they are more similair than expected when you go in-depth into their relationship.
In fan-art or other fan-works, this relationship is potrayed commonly with Maki protecting Chihiro. In some other fan-works, Maki is kissing or hugging Chihiro. This can show that the fandom of this ship sees Maki as the "controller" or mother of the relationship. It is imagined that Maki would protect Chihiro from bullies, and they would both give advice to eachother. It is also imagined that Maki would teach Chihiro how to fight and invite him to Kaito's training sessions.
