Harushira is the femslash ship between Tenko Chabashira and Maki Harukawa from the Danganronpa fandom.
Canon[]
Maki and Tenko were both students of the Ultimate Academy of Gifted Juveniles and took part in the killing game. Though, not many interactions are shared between them in game. However, in Chapter 3, Tenko seeks Shuichi and Maki for help to put a stop to Angie's spirit ritual.
Ultimate talent development plan[]
The setting unfolds at a summer sports festival during a three-legged race. Tenko expresses to Maki that being her partner feels akin to having the support of a hundred individuals. Tenko encourages Maki to give their best effort to secure the coveted prize, the elusive 'gold.' However, Maki promptly reassures Tenko, dispelling any concerns about holding back. This assurance prompts Tenko to see Maki in a new light, acknowledging her competitive spirit and realizing she can depend on Maki. Despite Tenko's newfound confidence in Maki's abilities, Maki remains somewhat skeptical of her own usefulness but agrees to embrace the challenge.
Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp[]
The scene unfolds around a campfire, where Maki, intending for it to be an ordinary day, observes Tenko's bewilderment upon learning Chihiro's secret of being a boy. Contrary to expectations, Tenko refrains from her usual tirade against males, prompting Maki to inquire about her uncharacteristic silence. To Maki's surprise, Tenko breaks into tears and shares her fear of unintentionally hurting Chihiro with her constant comments. Tenko also expresses a wish that Chihiro were a girl. Maki, acknowledging Tenko's kindhearted nature, reassures her and suggests that Chihiro would appreciate hearing Tenko's honest thoughts on the matter.
Fanon[]
As this ship lacks widespread popularity, there is no universally accepted fanon narrative within the community. However, some enthusiasts perceive it as a tale of opposites attracting, speculating that Maki may have fallen in love first but chose to deny her true feelings to uphold her pride. This interpretation adds a layer of complexity to the dynamic between the characters, sparking varied discussions and interpretations among fans.
Though, both characters do have some similar traits. Both characters have powerful strength (Maki being the Ultimate Assassin and Tenko being the Ultimate Aikido Master). Also, both have their hair styled into two long twin-tails and both are attired in sailor uniforms.
Maki has more of a serious personality and Tenko is more cheerful.
This ship is rivaled with Tenmiko and Kaimaki.

- The birthdates of the characters are in back-to-back months. Tenko's birthday is in January and Maki's birthday is in February.
- They both have different blood types: Maki is type A and Tenko is type B.
