Hawkeye vs. Deadpool[]
Clint is handing out candy on Halloween, when he notices that Wade is one of the parents taking their kid trick-or-treating at his door. He tells them all to have a good night, as Wade tells his daughter to say thanks. She instead asks why the candy is so small, and Wade asks the same. Clint says that they're fun size, and Wade asks if he's holding out on them. Clint angrily says no, and Wade says he was just messing with him. He suggests that they hang out after trick-or-treating, but Clint just slams the door in his face.
As Wade's group returns from trick-or-treating, the sound of shots rings from outside. Clint runs out in full gear and Wade quickly joins him. They see that a man dressed as Punisher had shot a civilian who Clint had been contacted by, and Wade says it's not Punisher since he's bigger. Clint asks how he knows that and Wade says that they're on a secret team, which he can only tell him because it's ending. He goes to take off the mask, but the guy bites his fingers instead. Clint says that he has everything handled, and Wade can go screw up something else, when he's suddenly knocked out by a guy in a Daredevil costume. The "Punished" then tries to shoot Clint, but Wade is able to knock him back so he misses. Clint wakes and asks how hit him, and Wade tells him. Clint then tells him to handle the "Punisher" while he tracks down the other guy, when Wade is tazzed.

Hawkpool is more of a rarepair in the Marvel fandom. This is mostly due to their limited interactions across all media. Most shippers come from their crossover comic, which has a lot of fondness from certain fans. Many fans liked how Wade was respectful of Clint's hearing impairment, more so than other heroes. Pointing out examples of him using sign language and removing his mask so that Clint could read his lips during conversations. On AO3, there are currently 60+ written works.
