HercSora is the friendship between Hercules and Sora from the Kingdom Hearts fandom.
Canon[]
Kingdom Hearts[]
Sora meets Hercules when his journey with Donald Duck and Goofy brings them to Olympus Coliseum. Hercules arrives when Sora, Cloud Strife, and his companions are forced to fight Cerberus. Hercules holds off Cerberus momentarily, and then grabs an unconscious Cloud to bring him to safety. Sora then steps in, and he successfully defeats Cerberus. Hercules is impressed with Sora's bravery, and he and Phil give them the title of "Junior Heroes".
Sora, Donald, and Goofy return to Olympus Coliseum later to compete in the games. They fight against Hercules in the "Hercules Cup". Upon winning, Hercules is again impressed by their skill. He tells them that they make great heroes together. He is also somewhat surprised by their win, as he admits to not holding back against them.

Sora, Donald, and Goofy decide to visit Olympus Coliseum to catch up with Hercules. However, they accidentally arrive in the underworld instead of at the Coliseum. There they meet Megara, who explains that she is trying to help Hercules. He is busy every day battling enemies sent by Hades, and she wants to convince Hades to give him a break. She's worried about Hercules and his levels of exhaustion. Sora, also worried for his friend, offers to go in Meg's place and speak to Hades himself.
Later, Sora and his companions return to the surface world. There they run into Hercules, who is excited to see them. Sora and Hercules reunite, saying that a heroes work (whether junior of full-fledged) is never over. Hades soon appears, and reveals that Meg is in the underworld and needs to be saved. However, she also says that a hydra will be rampaging through the surface world. Sora and Hercules agree to team up; Hercules will handle the hydra, and Sora will save Meg.
Sora, Donald, and Goofy search for Meg, and fight against Pete and some heartless to save her. When all seems bleak, Hercules comes charging in and changes the tide of the battle. Meg and the others escape to find that the hydra is still wreaking havoc on the Coliseum. Hercules soon joins them, and is distraught to see all the damage. He blames himself, but Sora encourages him and tells him it isn't his fault. Sora, Donald, and Goofy team up with Meg and Phil to take down the hydra once and for all.
Hercules apologizes to the group, saying that he was useless. Meg and Sora deny this, and they encourage him to get some rest.
Kingdom Hearts III[]

Fanon[]
Herc is shown to be a big brother-like figure to Sora, from the wisdom and confidence boots he has given Sora in Kingdom Hearts 1 and 3. On the other hand, Kingdom Hearts II had Sora looking out for Hercules. There have been those who have shipped in a romantic sense, while most others prefer to have the ship be of a platonic nature.
There is currently only 1 work on AO3 for this friendship pairing. There are 3 works for the romantic version of the ship.
For a long time HerSora was Hercules's only original ship in the KH series, until Birth By Sleep introduced Zackules. A ship between a Disney character and a Final Fantasy character, just as HerSora is of a Disney character with one of the original Kingdom Hearts characters.
