Hijirigawa is the slash ship between Takumi Hijirihara and Shūji Fujigawa from the Danganronpa fandom.
Canon[]
Takumi is Shūji's childhood friend. They frequently hung out with each other during middle school and even agreed to pose for a picture together. Shūji deeply cared for Takumi before he became Killer Killer, often protecting him from bloody scenes due to his fear of blood back then. It seems like Takumi forgot about Shūji since the incident, unable to recognize Shūji at all.
After the Giboura Massacre and discovering Takumi's Killer Killer persona, Shūji felt immense guilt over this change - blaming himself for being indirectly responsible about such a change. He later revealed that the event changed him as well, as he too became a Killer Killer, but did so in order to "clean" the world, not out of a love of passionate killings like Takumi. He has since become passionate about bringing Takumi back to his senses, going far enough to stab Misaki Asano to make him understand.[1]
Takumi rated Shuji's murders a 100 out of 100, which is his highest ranking he has ever given to any serial killer as well as the only perfect score. When they met again in building where Shūji was hiding, he felt jealous of Misaki, wondering why Takumi is protecting such an "incompetent woman." He then exclaimed that Takumi "belongs to him" and blowed up place where Misaki was standing. Due to his "adoration" of Hijirihara, he was more willing to detonate himself than being killed by Takumi[2], not wanting his beloved crush to kill anyone again, therefore "stealing" the kill from him.
Fanon[]
The ship sailed as a result of the one-sided attraction Fujigawa had for Hijirihara. While standing out for being one of a few semi-canon LGBT Danganronpa ships, it didn't receive positive feedback. As a result, there aren't many fanfictions about the two or fanarts portraying them.
Firstly, the ship greatly loses in popularity to Hijirisano. This is because the latter gets more development throughout the manga as a result of being Takumi's canon relationship. As such, fans didn't like when Fujigawa tried to meddle with Hijirisano, even using Misano as a living time-bomb. Secondly, Fujigawa himself is a rather unpopular character due to his goal of killing the entire mankind because every human has a potential to become a killer, with his intent to leave only himself and his beloved alive despite both being serial killers. Thirdly, as a result of originating from a side material, majority of Danganronpa fandom isn't even aware of the ship. Finally, the ship is seen as unhealthy, as it turned Fujigawa into a serial killer.
Some fanfictions, however, may portray the ship more sympathetically, with Fujigawa's contempt for serial killers influencing Takumi to stop being one. Others may portray them as two serial killers killing their victims together. The latter option might also go along with the couple being natural enemies to the Future Foundation as a result. Alternate versions of this scenario might portray them as hired by the Future Foundation to get rid of other serial killers and Remnants of Despair, in spite of the organization's policy against having murderers as its members.
