HiroHime is the het ship between Hirokazu Arai and Himeno from the Chainsaw Man fandom.
Canon[]
Hirokazu Arai and Himeno are Public Safety Devil Hunters, and both are members of Special Division 4. When Himeno decides to motivate the newcomers, she offers a reward if they complete their mission successfully – the lucky winner gets to kiss her on the cheek. Hirokazu blushes and claims it to be inappropriate for a young woman to suggest such things before marriage. Himeno doesn’t think much of it and tries to persuade Denji to behave, so she can kiss him later. When Denji declines the offer, Himeno pushes and says she can offer more than a simple peck on the cheek — she can french-kiss him. Upon hearing it, Hirokazu knits his brows in anger.
After entering the building, the group moves at a moderate pace, while Hirokazu and Denji are running ahead of everyone. Himeno finds it funny and notes that there is nothing more entertaining than teasing boys. Hirokazu slaps Denji and tells him to be more responsible and not run headlong into battle like that. Arai mentions that he’s been trained by Himeno herself for half a year, and now he is in her debt. He adds that he won’t allow some “punk” like Denji to steal Himeno’s kiss, especially on the lips, so he will try to win to get a simple chaste kiss on the cheek.
Looking at them squabbling, Himeno tells Aki that what Arai lacks in physical skills, he makes up for in drive. When they all get trapped in the hotel, Hirokazu has a breakdown and locks himself in one of the rooms. Himeno tells Power and Denji that they three will be guarding Arai and Kobeni. After the devil is defeated, and the squad is safe, Arai decides to quit Public Safety. Himeno and Aki decide to take everyone out for drinks, so they can apologize to Denji and persuade Kobeni and Hirokazu to stay.
In the restaurant, Arai introduces himself and mentions he has a contract with the Fox Devil, which surprises Denji, since Aki has a contract with the same devil. Himeno says that only attractive people can use the Fox. When Himeno gets very drunk, she kisses Denji fulfilling her promise, however, she can barely control herself and accidentally vomits. After that Hirokazu helps Denji clean up in the bathroom, chastising Himeno for drinking too much. When they leave the restaurant, Makima assigns Arai to taking Himeno home, but she is already gone.
Fanon[]
The ship is considered a rarepair, since Arai is a minor character, and AkiMeno is a more popular ship involving Himeno. HiroHime was born when Arai showed his concern for Himeno's honor, and blushed when she promised to kiss the one who kills the devil. When Arai helps Denji in the bathroom, he tells him that his mother is a heavy drinker and he often had to take care of her, a skill that he might have had to use on Himeno, too, since she is a very loud and wild drunk.
