HitLowe is the het ship between Hitch Dreyse and Marlowe Freudenberg from the Attack on Titan fandom.
Canon[]
Hitch and Marlowe are shown to be opposite from each other, or they are each other's foil. Marlowe was shown as being very serious, honor bound and righteous. However these qualities cause him to struggle with understanding the feelings of others, while also making him come off as un-empathetic. By contrast, Hitch is easing going, laid back, and sarcastic. She likes to tease her comrades, especially Marlowe.
The first interaction we see from them is when Annie went with the other Military Police cadets and Hitch made fun of her for arriving late, which Marlowe kind of scolds Hitch for doing it, telling that they should be more united since both girls share the same room.
During the Female Titan arc, Marlowe watches a few high-rank Military Police officers illegally sell their equipment to the market. Marlowe decides to stand up as he believes it was morally wrong to sell items that was paid for by the peoples taxes. This soon results in him getting beat from the higher ranks before Hitch has to intervene and apologize on Marlowe's behalf. Before this, Marlowe was frustrated by the corruption among the high ranks of the MP's, so he began to lecture his fellow MP recruits on how he will fix the Military Police when he is in charge. This caused Hitch to fall to the ground with laughter, not taking him seriously.

In the Uprising Arc the two are assigned a position to hunt down the remaining Scouts as the all of the Survey Crops were now wanted criminals. As they are doing this job in a forest, they begin to converse with each other. They make satirical responses at one another, telling one another that they aren't each others "type." The two are then ambushed by Levi and Mikasa who take away their weapons and uniforms. Hitch becomes irate, blaming the scouts for the destruction in Stohess and for the 'death' of former Military Police officer Annie Leonhart. The two are both told Annie isn't dead and instead she's the reason why many people died. Both Marlowe and Hitch are appalled upon hearing this.
The Survey Scouts (Connie and Sasha specifically) tease Marlowe when he transferred from the Military Police to the Survey Corps after he tells them that Hitch was worried and she tried to discourage Marlowe from joining the Survey Corps. They imply that Hitch is in love with Marlowe, citing her actions. The scouts then proceed (except Mikasa and Eren) to call Marlowe an idiot for not knowing why Hitch wanted him to stay, and because Marlowe told hitch that he misjudged her as a person. This causes the rest of the Scout's to be appalled at Marlo's lack of understanding and density. In retrospect, this is tragic since this would be the last conversation the two would have.

Before Marlowe's death, he spends his final moments thinking about Hitch and wondering how she might be still sleeping in. In reality, Hitch was worried and waiting for him to return home safely. Hitch reunites with the Survey Corps and asked them about how did Marlowe fight, since she already knew he died. Floch told her he fought bravely, making Mitch smile a little bit. However, Floch later tells her that Marlowe’s face when he died looked like he regretted being there, making Hitch visibly distressed. She later went with her brigade with a depressed face, showing us it really hurt her Marlowe’s departure.

HitLowe isn’t a very popular ship in the fandom probably because Hitch and Marlowe are both side characters with some but not much screen time. However, it has its decent amount of fans since they care and protect each other, like when Hitch knocked out Jean to save Marlowe but Jean was only testing their trust, or when an official was going to hit Marlowe and Hitch intervened to protect him. It is the most written about Ship for Hitch and Marlowe on AO3.
Many fan theorists believe that they truly might've have feelings for each other but sadly couldn't tell each other. A majority of the fans of this ship believe during Marlowe's moments that he might've realized he was in love with Hitch because he thought about her in his final moments before questioning why he is thinking of Hitch in the first place. This could arguably be interpreted as Marlowe realizing he cared more for Hitch more than he was aware of. The ship would gain more popularity because Hitch was actually waiting for the safe return of Marlowe and the scouts, instead of sleeping in like Marlowe thought. Even if they didn’t have much screen time together due both are minor characters, this ship became quite popular for both Hitch and Marlowe.
The rival ship is HitchAnnie, but this is only for the femslash side with Hitch. On AO3, HitLowe is the most written about ship for both Hitch and Marlowe, with over 230 works as of writing.

Trivia[]
- In Episode 4 of the third season, both Marlowe and Hitch reveal they aren't each other types, however it's most likely Hitch was being sarcastic as Marlowe told Hitch she wasn't his type first due to her teasing him when they were alone in the forest.
