HolyDust is the slash ship between Adam and Angel Dust from the Hazbin Hotel fandom.
Canon[]
Adam and Angel Dust have not interacted on-screen. However, Adam is aware of Angel and his status as a porn star and does not hold much respect for him. After Charlie mentions Angel at the court meeting, Adam recognizes him as the “porn demon” immediately and disregards any possibility for him to be redeemed. When Adam made a check list of acts that he claims were what got him into Heaven, he didn't think that Angel would be able to complete it and becomes worried when he did. Since it was Adam's idea to observe Angel and the first part did have Angel do what Adam expected from a sinner, as Adam mocks Angel's decision to consume alcohol, until the second part had Angel display the acts on the list. As Adam tries to find the words that would convince Heaven to still see Angel as an unholy sinner, he ends up saying "Why isn't he here then," but it ends up getting the other angels in the room to wonder why that is? Luckily for Adam, Lute backs him up by saying that Angel is unholy and they shouldn't be wasting their time on the likes of him.
When Lucifer and Adam are arguing Angel is seen raising his eyebrow curiously after Lucifer says “And now, I am going to fuck you!” to Adam. As Adam starts to have a break down after losing to Lucifer in battle, Angel gives the ranting first man an unimpressed look, beside the others. Refusing to give Adam the worship he believes sinners like Angel should have of him, from being the first man. Because they were all focused on him, Angel failed to notice Niffty coming up behind Adam, becoming shocked and surprised as he sees the blade of a knife sticking through Adam's chest.
Fanon[]
The dynamic and ship sailed in Episode 6 due to Adam recognizing Angel as the “porn demon” almost immediately. Theories spun where Adam may have met Angel in Hell at some point or simply has watched his adult films. Adam and Angel’s similarly crude and vulgar way of speech also landed some supporters of the ship.
Due to Adam dying at the end of season one and preventing any chance of the two from crossing paths again, however, people have created AUs and fanfics that has Angel and Adam become friends and then lovers, by giving Adam a redemption arc or simply have Adam be a secret fan of Angel's work. These ideas are sometimes explored in the Sinner!Adam AU, as Adam responds as a sinner after his death and ends up crossing paths with Angel. Either at the hotel, as Adam tries to redeem himself back into Heaven, on the streets on Hell, attends one of Angel's shows or when Adam finds himself with the Vees. As each rout leads to him interacting with Angel, in more ways than one. Some fanfics also have Angel as one of the demons who help Adam see that he was wrong about them, and shouldn't be ashamed of his descendants who became sinners.
In AU's that has Adam losing the trial and has the extermination be cancelled for good, however, he sometimes places the blame on Angel. For being the sinner who Heaven has come to see as the hotel's example for redemption, and should consider opening their gates to redeemed souls. Believing that Angel would be the only sinner who appears promising in the eyes of the elder angels, Adam devices a plan to get rid of him and have the exterminations continue. This thought is mostly from those who don't think the two would have ever got along. With them being enemies, and not everyone is a "hero x villain" ship supporter.
